rest in paradise big george
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
This one is a hard one to take, big George was a great man and fighter, he us fans an exciting and exceptional career. RIP to a good bloke!
Wow, my sentiments exactly. Just woke up to this news, and deeply saddened. George became much bigger than boxing, and was a beloved personality. I've yet to read about cause of death, and if he was sick I had no idea. Thought for sure he'd be around a while longer. May he rest in peace.
What a fighter. What a man.
RIP Big George
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Absolutely. The last one remaining of that golden generation that will haunt future generations for all time.
A career as impressive as anybody else in history, and a life outside the ring that also transcended the sport.
In the ring; an absolute bona fide monster. There is not a heavyweight in history who you can say with certainty would have beaten him. That shattering power was the ultimate equaliser against anyone, but he developed very underrated and cute skills after the Ali fight too.
A freakish athlete, granite chin, intimidating persona and a guy whose sheer power is in a class of his own.
A genuine all time great, inside and outside the ring….. rest in peace, Champ
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
May he RIP. What a great individual.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

And with that, gentlemen, the last of the three lions of the 70s has died. I hope they all greet each other in heaven as the old friends they knew,
My condolences to George, George, George, George, George and……….and his daughter Georgetta (lol) That's not meant to be disrespectful because I’m sure even George would found the humour in that well post 1990 George would, pre 1975 George would have killed me.
And that’s the thing about George, he went from being a moody guy who probably took himself too seriously in the younger years, to being one of the most likeable ex boxers out there.
What fighter can say they’ve had 2 HOF careers ? George could. Young George and Older George.
What fighter can say they made more money when they retired than when they fought ? George could
His Lean Mean Grilling Machine was his pride and joy,
Gonna fire that baby up and cook some steaks in honour of big George
76 isn’t super old, but I suppose you don’t get many 76-year-old guys who are 250 pounds, added to that, because of his granite chin he took a lot of punishment so maybe 76 is good age for him to bow out and be with the Lord he knelt to for decades
“Down goes Frazier !!”
“Down goes Frazier !!”
“Down goes Frazier !!”
Man I love it lol
RIP GEORGE

RIP, Big George. Real legend in the game—raw power, non-stop hustle, and one of the dopest comebacks in boxing history. From young beast to wise king, his legacy's solid. A giant inside and outside the ring
