Default The IBF congratulate Floyd on defeating Judah...then threaten to strip him!!!

So the IBF sent a letter to Floyd Mayweather congratulating him on the defeat of Zab Judah. After the praise he was told that he had 5 days to decide on whether or not he wanted to take a rematch with Judah...or be stripped of his title.

During the 90-120 days waiting period...he's not allowed to take another fight.

You Margarito junkies just got shatted out of your heroe's chance to make a statement.

Fwock the gotdam IBF & their crooked bullshat!!! You don't congratulate a man on becoming your champion & then on the next page threaten to strip him...

Floyd should not take this rematch...he should just fight/defeat Margarito & then move on...8 mill richer...but if I know my man...& I think that I do...he'll take the rematch.

    Bullshat!

    http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2...EEIOHoqWF.html

Fightnews has obtained a copy of the actual letter sent from the IBF to Floyd Mayweather Jr. via his promoter Top Rank ordering a rematch with Zab Judah. In it, IBF President Marian Muhammad congratulates Floyd on his win but calls the bout "tarnished by what I call one of the most abhorrent displays of unsportsmanlike conduct to occur in boxing [in regard to Roger Mayweather entering the ring to start a tenth round melee].....based on all the information available, the poll of IBF/USBA Board of Directors and my personal attendance at the fight of April 8, 2006 between Zab Judah and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., it is the decision and directive of the IBF that a rematch between Floyed Mayweather, Jr., and Zab Judah is ordered to take place within 90-120 days of April 8, 2006 or not later August 8, 2006 for the IBF Welterweight title. The Board is also directing that no intervening bouts should be contracted for by either boxer. Kindly let us know within the next 5 days as to whether or not you feel this bout can be negotiated so that we may move forward from that point." See the actual letter.

    I picked option #1 & #2.

He should tell Judah & the IBF to go fwock themselves. He should then take that 8 million dollar offer & kick the living crap outta Margarito.

After that...I'd go for Oscar & Hatton...if they are busy...then I'd fight Cotto.

Judah does not deserve to make another dime offa Floyd's name.

Honestly...what the IBF is pulling is utter bullshat.

I am pretty shocked. You get a ruling & you have a man that fought through fouls & still won...& they threaten to strip him...fwock em...I'd let them have their piece of trash title...Don King owns that shat anyways...let that bitch have his way...give him the finger & walk.

Done deal...but Floyd's got too much pride to let it go.

We'll see a rematch before we see Mayweather vs Margarito...& that's a shame.

Yes heal. Floyd hurt his hand. After the hurt hand heals...we will see a rematch...if we don't...I'll be shocked.

To win a fight with a hurt hand? You know what...you convinced me...yep...Floyd dominated that bitch.

Thanks Sal...you convinced me...not about Judah being a bitch...I was already convinced of that...but that Floyd dominated Judah...thanks man.

    Good lookin out Sal.

I picked option number one. The only problem with that is that the Judah fans would start saying that he is afraid of Judah (much like our friend Sal is already doing) which is simply ridicules. Floyd dominated that fight, he had Judah scared to throw punches in the later half of the fight, I mean he completely out classed the guy. Still I think that it is also a matter of principle, Floyd is no one's pupet and he does not need that fookin belt. There are so much better options out there for Mayweather. Fook the IBF!!!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is undefeated, has fought and beaten many good fighters and is often mentioned as the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Promoters and world boxing organizations therefore want him, and in my opinion he can pretty much dictate his own terms for his fights. He should fight the best guys out there and not let himself get pushed around by Don King, the IBF or anyone of those suspect sanctioning bodies in boxing.

Unfortunately...I think he'll be stupid & do it now.

Could be wrong...but I honestly think that he'll do it now.

If he doesn't do it now...he won't do it in the future.

zab breaks his hands too but he doesn't use it as an excuse for not knocking somebody out Floyd does. And why? because Mayweather cares how he appears in the ring and how he wins in the ring. HE WILL NEVER BE a Bernard Hopkins or a Roy Jones Jr, because they didn't give a shat how they won as long as they walked out with the W, it means something to Floyd and that is his biggest weakness.

Why does he have to be B-Hop or RJJ? Right now he's blazing his own trail as he has ravaged every division he's fought in and he's working on 147(other then 140 which went to hot to flop overnight). Anyways, I have a feeling he won't give a rematch seeing as how the demand for Margarito and Hatton got turned up after this fight.

In a perfect world Hatton would keep busy at 147, maybe pick up the IBF belt in an interim fight while Mayweather takes on Margarito. Then the winners of both would match up at the end of the year.
