Default Abraham vs Miranda in Germany on 8-19-2006 for the IBF Middleweight Title!!!

8-19-2006 all questions will be answered as Edison Miranda hops on a plane & heads to Germany to face Arthur Abraham for the IBF Middleweight Title...I couldn't be more thrilled.

All I can tell you are these two thingy's! #1: Plain & simple...somebody's 0's gonna go...unless ofcourse Abraham loses to Jantuah first.

#2: Miranda better knock Abraham out...because he aint gonna win a decision against Abraham in Germany. Also...Abraham is a bit more technical & accurate than Eastman...he's younger too & probably as hungry as Miranda.

This is gonna be a fwockin fight kiddies!!!

Any thoughts on this one people?

Very entertaining fight, hopefully a war. Very rare to see two dangerous undefeated up and comers face each other, hats off to both.

Jantuah beating Abraham is a disaster waiting to happen. Of course it could be another DLH Sturm where the decision goes to Abraham. Haven't seen too much of Abraham, saw him against Eastman and saw Miranda against Eastman. Eastman had Abraham in more trouble didn't he? And it was a temple shot that hurt Miranda not a chin shot right? What hurt Abraham?

    Sweetness

I'll be rooting for Abraham cause I don't really like Miranda. And I don't know why, good story, seems like a good guy, exciting fighter. So I don't know why but I'm just not much of a fan But I respect him for going over there for this fight

Yep...I thought that Arthur A did much better than Miranda did...even though Miranda got the KO.

Truthfully...it only seemed like the body work that Eastman attempted (I say attempted because only a few shots were effective) was hurtin AA.

    Miranda Abraham will be scorching.

Miranda's fight against Eastman IMO lowered his stock in that Eastman actually could hurt him. He left himself wide open whenever he swung, and didn't impress me in the least. Abraham I haven't seen unfortunately, but I hear he's very good be some of the knowledgable people on the board so I'm guessing when I say he's in way over head, but it sounds like that.

This is good for boxing, great for them so hats of to both for taking on a very hard task as they face each other. SO just maythe best man win and then take on sturm and the winner of that take on the winner of Jt and winky.

    Very well put.

    Abraham will target those openings.

Again...I thought that even though Miranda dropped Eastman...AA went toe to toe & boxed with him very well.

I wouldn't say that it was that Abraham outclassed Eastman...but he did work with him & beat him down the stretch.

The fact that Abraham can take a shot will be a factor too...then again...so could Eastman.

I think that this is going to be the tuffest test of both men's careers.

Wacko I got better news for you. Count on the fight being here in the USA beginning of August (so us Americans get to watch it live!). Probably a SHO or HBO event.
I don't think the Germans will have enough money to pull it away from here.

As for everyone's opinions, let me try to dig your quotes up as to what your thoughts were on the Miranda vs Eastman fight.

Miranda has always had his holes, but they are tightening up with every fight. You can bet your a** he will keep his left hand up against Abraham. Miranda by mid to late KO, trust me!

This can go the Calzaghe Lacy round. OR the Vanderpool Lacy route. Abraham has holes too and has a weak body. I don't know about Miranda's chin though. I do know Abraham's been checked so he knows. I don't know how Miranda's stock dropped when people praise Cintron for getting hurt and coming back to win saying all this good stuff about him, but the say Miranda's stock dropped because he got hurt and cam eback to stop his opponent I don't get these double standards!!

SWEET!! Talk about a barn burner!! They way Miranda fights I cant imagine anything but a slugfest. Hopefully he can get his defensive holes fixed. I think Abraham is going to try to sit back and counter Miranda's big shots. But Miranda has that power! Sounds like it is going to be a great fight.

    Starr-

People are saying that if Miranda would have been hit like that with 1 minute left instead of 8 seconds left he would have been done.
I disagree 100%. He recovers very quick...
He was hit similar earlier in that round and was smart enough to tie up with Eastman and buy about 20-30 seconds and was fine.

I've have seen Miranda get hit harder than what Eastman gave him and he took it great. Eastman just got him in the temple and that dazed him for a few seconds.

Abraham is a very hard hitter and Miranda will have to be careful not to leave himself open, but like Starr said, Araham too has holes and has never felt the power that Miranda can throw.

If y'all remember Miranda-Eastman you might agree that Eastman did some very sneaky veteran type sh!+ to bait Miranda into getting a bit reckless. The 1st round
he threw NOTHING literally, just circled and stayed away. I don't think Miranda is the type of fighter that likes to hear the fans boo, but he won't have to worry about boos in this one. Anyway, I don't think his stock dropped, he is what he is and if he doesn't mind taking one to give one it could be worse 'cuz he does have heavy hands.

Not many thought he could beat Eastman, let alone be the 1st man to knock him out! How could his stock drop by doing this?
Did Liakhovich stock drop because he was close to being KO'd a few times? These same people will find a reason to say Miranda's stock drops even more when he KO's Abraham!
