Then you would have double!! Having paid into the system
I liberal dose of castration to the sub classes wouldn't hurt* (I refuse to give them the honor of being called 'working class' as that implies that given the opportunity they would actually want to work.)
All joking aside I think that this society's problems have been bred over decades and sadly are going to take just as long to fix... that's assuming they start to turn around from here... If not LONGER.
* Assuming we wasted good Anesthetic on them.
It is about instilling self responsibility. You are 'mature' enough to get pregant. Now are you and your partner 'mature' enough to deal with the consequences? If not, then get rid of it. It sounds harsh, but there are an entire generation of these people out there. It's a drain and doesn't help anyone if the extended family are also benefits loafers.
Just stop it dead. No support for these people.
When I say support families, I mean to promote relationships where people build up savings and get a home which they then use to subsidise having their latest addition; namely a child.
By forcibly taking their child. How do you decide who is 'responsible' and who sets the goal post?
sad fact young girls get pregnant to get housed now. Once heard a mother on bus telling her daughter thats what she should do.
Scum of the earth
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
For a girl to get pregnant, it only takes one boy.
But one boy can get over a life time 10's of thousands of girls pregnant.
Shotgun wedding after the first one, imo.
Interesting point Ghost, I wonder what the maximum ammount of conceptions an average guy could possibly make in a life time?![]()
This thread is ridiculous. Your 'solutions' are just stupid rants.
Forced abortions, forced national service, are these your serious ideas and beliefs or just angry soundbites?
How could Cameron possibly introduce forced abortions for young parents? The entire world would be up in arms, there would be worldwide condemnation and we'd become social pariah's alongside Iran and Syria. The policy would never make it past the House of Lords anyway and the public would go mental. It's simply an imbecilic comment.
Forced national service. Good luck selling that one to the people. The government has already been forced to climb down on prison reform, selling the forest, and restructuring the NHS. How in the world would they ever be able to convince today's youth, and their parents that they should give up two years of their life, in peace time, to perform national service? It simply could not happen, it would never in a million years make it past the ideas stage.
We live in a democracy yet you want dictatorial rule with our leaders ushering in controverisal and shocking policies and presumably ignoring any dissenting voices, or maybe finding ways to silence them for good.
There are many causes for the riots, and all far more complex than an pea brained, angry ranting mind can be bothered to try and comprehend.
The class divide for one. The UK has one of the lowest Gini coefficient (distribution of wealth) scores in the entire developed world. In the whole of Europe only Portugal has a more uneven distribution of income than Britain. There are whole communities of disaffected and angry youths, marginalised by society with no hope for a better future.
The breakdown of the family unit. The liberal obsession with promoting gay equality, and single parent equality has denigrated the role of marriage so much that half the people of Britain no longer even consider it meaningful or important. It's had a catastrophic impact on our society.
There are serious, longterm problems in our society and way of life that are at the heart of the problems we have today. Simply punishing the wrongdoers and trying to act more harshly and oppressively will not work. It's like just stick another band-aid on an amputed arm and expecting it to heal this time.
