That's right... he beat a Vargas who was proberly damaged as far back as the Trindad defeat
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
How did Wright get involved in this conversation. 1) I still have no clue why Mosley was fighting Wright up at that weight and not smacking fools more his size. 2) Wright would eat PBF's soul. He's waaaay too big for PBF. We shouldn't even be comparing this. The dude just went 12 rounds with Jermain Taylor... wanna stick Floyd in there?
It must be a nightmare being Floyd. Every week everybody clamours for him to fight the current hit of the week, accusing him of dodging and ducking and saying he needs to step up.
Hatton, Judah (until he lost to Baldomir), Margarito, Oscar, Mosely etc.
What makes me laugh though is that before their defining fights Oscar Mayorga, Shane Vargas everyone is writing off their chances saying such a fight would be a mismatch and they wouldn't want it on ppv.
Then they get a win, and all of a sudden Floyd has to fight them!
Poor man, damed if you don't, damned if you do.
I bet the millions of dollars in his pockets make the nightmare easier live with. Maybe he can wipe away his tears with 100 dollar bills.![]()
Oscar could beat Floyd, Floyd hasn't fought anyone like Oscar...ODH is big powerful and I doubt he'd be hurt by ANYONE at 147 providing he can make the weight
Shane would do very well with Floyd, his chin is better than Zab's and he uses more punches and has more heart than Zab.
I still say Shane will not be able to figure PBF out... IMO He has never done well against a good jab, and Floyd has one of the best jabs ever when he uses it (vs. Corrales, Castillo 2, Hernandez). Mosley isn't used to fighting somebody faster than him, and I don't think he would be capable of fighting somebody faster than him.
I think even if Shane left his chin out to dry and let Floyd take free shots he still couldnt hurt him .Originally Posted by Preme
Floyd has to be th emost featherfisted fighter in the p4p top 10 . After seeing him land his bst shots on Judah and stioll have no effect it made me think he's guna struggle as he moves up cuz he already cant wobble the most chinny of fighters .
Floyd hasnt done anything in his entire career that suggests he is capable of handling Shane at his best . Question is will Shane be at his best ? Thats why I make it 50-50 anymans fight
I agree with that statement as long as you substitute "a good chance" with "a puncher's chance"Originally Posted by ElTerribleMorales
Seriously, how many people were saying how good and bada** Margarito was before his name got tossed in the mix with PBFs. Cotto is too slow and robotic...PBF would dismantle him.
I'm not a big Floyd fan but that's how it is.
actually oscar's the bigger threat, he's the bigger man and has a better style to beat PBFOriginally Posted by GAME
I think Oscar at 147 taps that mayweather ass!Originally Posted by ElTerribleMorales
CC back at ya. I found it a sad coincidence that Mosley knocked out Vargas in the same round as Oscar finished off el matador. But least Mayorga came to fight and to win. Vargas looked to only be there for a pay day, and just plodded forward with no gameplan. Point is, even after KO'n Vargas, Mosley ain't mentally ready for PBF. He was more worried bout his loose tooth last night, than fighting the so called best P4P fighter in the world.Originally Posted by The Game

Agreed,I'm not buying into this Mosley-PBF hype just yet either. One of these bastards needs to fight Margarito!!!I like the Mosley idea:Tony-PBF-winner faces Shane.
Il go with that also . Shane needs a couple fights at welter first to get used to the weight again . Floyd can fight Margarito in the interim in November . Next may would be great to see the Mosley - Floyd fight but I duno where that leaves OscarOriginally Posted by The Game
Yea that would be a good scenario but honestly, there's no way Floyd would let it happen... That way Shane is the big shot who get's the way bigger payday and doesn't risk anything in doing so... Plus Mosley vs Margarito would probably be a more competitive fight imo, that's what I would wan't to see.. I think Shane could beat him soundly.Originally Posted by GAME
