Don't forget about the cheap ones!!

They need lovin' too, and they're more likely to negotiate with you and set up some kind of deal if you're a little short on cash.
I don't know what side of town that you reside in but there are very few cheap hookers in Vegas. These girls are used to having so many wanna be high rollers come into town and waste their money, you will see unattractive women working at a 500 dollor an hour rate

I've lived here almost my whole life (with a few stints in Cali) so trust me, I know how it works.

3 girls (occasionally hot) girls sitting together at a bar by themselves in Gucci dresses with a drink in front of them (but by no means drunk) at 3am in a casino = $500.00 a pop (they will ALWAYS make eyes at you if you're by yourself)

Trashy crack ho (possible transvestite) walking around downtown (downtown by Fremont St., not the Strip) with next to nothing on but having on the biggest high-heels you've ever seen = name your price. they might be bold enough to quote a rate as high as $50.00 but are always willing to go much cheaper
I have a funny story for you. I got into town May 1st of 07 and spent the first month here looking for a good booty call, I was not able to find anything so I picked up the telephone book one day and looked for one of the Massage parlors. There was one place that had outgoing calls for 80 bucks, so I said OK let me have one come by the house, sure enough she comes by the house and she was not attractive. She had no a** whatsoever, no tits, and her face was about a 6, this is the type of girl I would not even look at in a club, nor would I by a drink. But here she was at my house and I'm horny so I say let's get it on, she told me that on top of my 80 bucks it was an additional 200 for a BJ and 500 for sex, I immediately told her to leave my house, I said to myself " only in Vegas can a ugly broad like that charge so much money

You shouldn't have kicked her out so quick. If she was that ugly, I'm sure you could have got the price down substantially had you put in the effort. She knows that there's better girls out there for the same price, she's just trying to highball you. Ugly hookers remind me of the merchants in Tijuana and Ensinada, Mexico. It's all about negotiation.

Or you could have threatened to call the police and have her arrested for prostitution and have her employer raided for being a brothel......................... but then offered to keep your mouth shut for a free twirl

James Toney was born in Grand Rapids, raised in Ann Arbor, but fought out of Detroit, kind of. Grand Rapids also boasts the Mayweathers, several other pros and a few olympians as well as Buster Mathis Sr. who fought Ali and Jr. who fought Tyson.

But Hell Detroit with Joe Louis, Tommie Hearns etc etc, One of the best boxing towns ever. Hey, also Muhamed Ali has lived in Michigan for years.

    My top Boxing towns:
    New York
    Detroit
    Philadelphia

Too many fighters to list from these cities, but interestingly, both New York and Detroit can lay some claim to the best in Sugar Ray Robinson.

But San Juan and Mexico City are the meccas for Latino fans.

Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Too many champs to count. For smaller cities population under 80,000
I would lean to Youngstown Ohio.

what are you people talking about....the boxers live in vegas to fight in vegas. they don't learn there. the best boxing city is Philadelphia... Someone mentioned cunningham, chambers...great champs but how about Joe Frazier, Meldrick Taylor, Matthew Saad Muhammed, Bernard Hopkins, Bennie Briscoe, jack obrien, david reid... by the way gatti didnt fight out of AC, jersey city and he was born in Canada. a bunch of the boxers you named from NYC, just live there, didnt learn there.

In no order the best boxers come from Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, St. louis, Los Angeles, Boston...

Like saying the best actors come from hollywood, CA...

I'd say that in the last 5 years, Montreal has become one of the very good spot in North America boxing wise. Lots of boxing events, a couple of championship and it did produce a couple of champions/interesting prospects too.

It is clearly Halifax in Yorkshire. Nothing can compete with the boxing in Halifax, not even marauding naked Scandinavian sabre toothed hippos.

That was funny about hookers and getting the best price. Such knowledgeable posters we have lost over the years.

for boxing events this one is pretty easy....how could you put toyko over vegas? you name tokyo's 10 biggest fights and then i will name my vegas top 10..not even close. nyc number 2 because of the big fights of the old days. Atlantic City has done some catching up but thats is surely the top 10. remember, boxers from overseas haven't made it until they cross the pond for the big money against big american competition. such an easy question...

    1. Vegas
    2. NYC
    3.Atlantic city

the rican fighters are not from san juan....mexico city is a solid pick. how about general santos city, philippines. 2 of the 3 top pound for pound in my book. Nonito Donaire and Pacquiao..impressive. Great call on grand rapids..small as hell and it has given us those great boxers!finally someone who understands a "boxing town" Per capita, grand rapids, youngstown, philadelphia, detroit. i'm from philly and we love boxing, we are spoon fed the movie Rocky at a young age.
