Well if he is a showman he should be on the bloody stage then , he has absolutely no chance against Vitali and will take a pounding even though he doesnt deserve a shot at all , i cant believe there are people sticking up for this pain in the arse. He was totally shite against Wlad and big brother will shut him up for good ,

Actually, in hindsight I dont think Haye was that bad. His main fault was that he should have thrown more punches and commited to them a bit.

Adamek, may have more heart than Haye, but Adamek hardly landed any more punches on Vitali then Haye did on Wlad.

In fact, what are the punsch stat numbers on the Adamek fight anyway?

Total Punches: Klitschko 230/608, Adamek 89/301

    Total Punches: Klitschko 134 / 509, Haye 72 / 290

And there you have it. Side by side comparison.

    dont you think?

also the most active thread on the board is full of people saying they arent interested in the fight that the thread is about

It's because people are embarrassed for him. Nothing more.

Haye currently does NOT deserve another title shot. He needs to earn it by facing some of the tough 3-10 guys out there. I stand by the fact that he talked his way into a championship fight. It was his obnoxious flare that got him the fight in which he unfortunately performed like a nancy. To get another big pay day like that, he should fight 2-3 of the top ten heavyweights, and if he comes out unscathed, fair play: let him get a shot at Adamek. Erics44, you say he would beat Adamek or Arreola, but he's never beat anyone as good as them in his whole career depending on how you rank Ruiz. Let's see him face the Chagaev's, Povetkins, Adameks, and Arreolas and we can fairly assess how good he really is. Right now, he is a dolt whose best win is over Valuev or Ruiz.
    no it isnt

i do agree he doesnt deserve another title shot tho

but he would beat chag, ademek and arreola there is little doubt about that, a fight with provetkin might be good or at least close

klit v provetkin would be as one sided as the last klit v haye, and provetkin cant punch so klits would have nothing to worry about at all

there might be little chance of anyone beating a klit, but theres still more chance of haye beating one than provetkin
Explain. What makes you say that?

I am a betting man, and if haye got in the ring with any of them i would be quite confident of my bet

As much as you dislike haye, as much as he sounds off, as much of a dick he is, you cant get away from the fact he is a fast skillfull powerful boxer. Adamek and Areola are decent fighters yes but thats the most you could give them, chag has seen better days but even in his haye day he was decent at best.

what are their assets? adamek is tough and determind, chag can put punches together and can be quite quick on his feet, areola has some power and can take a punch. I personally dont think any of that is anywhere near enough to beat haye

would you honestly put money on any of those 3 beating haye? honestly?

First, I give more credit to those guys than to Haye because they are warriors, but setting that aside, it would be a tough bet, and I'm not sure right now. Haye to me has a very suspect chin. It's why he fought like a nancy when he got into the ring with Wlad whereas all those guys have big-time chins. Adamek and Arreola took helacious shots from Klitschko and were standing. At the same time, I can see Haye outboxing them in spurts too. They'd be good fights. Then again, those are the fights that Haye should be taking now. I would give him more credit if he fought those guys.

I think the punch stats, and the fact that Haye was practically unmarked, suggest the obvious, that Haye is a very good defensive fighter. Wlad just couldn't find the mark on him. And at least one of Haye's punches landed hard on Wlad. Woke him up.

The stats (plus one look at Adamek's post-fight face) also suggest that Vitali almost destroyed Adamek. I don't remember seeing any of Adamek's punches phasing Vitali. If I was Tomacz's Mom, I'd make him quit boxing.

with out doubt both adamek, areola and chag deserve more credit for their efforts against the klit than haye does for his

and without doubt haye should beat a few contenders before he deserves another title fight

thing is, and it might be be a bitter pill to swallow for all of those people that haye has pissed off so much, haye would more than likely knock all three out

thats where my money would very confidently be

I am actually flabbergasted by how many people, on here and on twitter, actually believe David Haye will beat Vitali.

People are as delusional as David Haye himself. I'm amazed I really am. It is idiots like them that will be giving Haye the potential £5m he doesn't deserve when he fights him.

Adamek is not a shite fighter. That isn't fair. You don't get to be a two division world champ by being a shite fighter. Chagaev is a legitimate heavyweight too who has had some class wins. Consider that Haye's best win was probably over Valuev (but maybe Ruiz) as was Chagaev's. Arreola is still a bit unproven in my opinion.
