From what I observed Floyd was getting more into the grove as the fight progressed, especially starting in round 3.

Despite Ortiz's flurry toward the end, it looked very possible that a Floyd win via KO could have materialized by the 10th.

If Ortiz wants a rematch, I say why not. But I don't see him being anymore likely to win.

No way there'll be a rematch. There's no way the PPV 2nd time round will beat this. Ortiz was shit in the build-up to this fight. Boring on 24/7. Boring at the press conferences.

Then he metally cracks in the ring. Throws a blatant headbutt. Invites Floyd to throw a combo at his unprotected head.

And that's all she wrote. (Well said Floyd)

i wouldnt be that bothered about a rematch really, i dont think Ortiz was in the fight and the longer it went the easier it would have got

the headbutt was frustration, and my view might be a bit contriversial but i thought Ortiz bailed, i dont think he was as badly hurt as he made out, i thnk he saw an opportunity and took it

    Think I agree.

Was watching it with a mate and he pointed out that that the first shot didn't seem to cause him to lose balance and the second and biggest shot didn't land that clean. Although I know the KO punches are the ones you don't see coming.

Ortiz also seemed quite happy once he had been counted out.

If Ortiz wasn't really dazed by the knockdown how did he fake his body going limp from the moment Floyd whacked him?

Come on guys... he clearly reacted like someone that doesn't even know they've been knocked out

Why should Ortiz get a rematch when the fight shouldn't have happened in the first place. I don't understand why mayweather is offering rematches to a guy who tried to headbutt him and floyd did the dirty on him too. Makes no sense at all, why would mayweather want to give a guy another pay cheque who tried to do cheat to win? Floyd needs to just fight manny, and stop will the bullshit. I'd be so annoyed of they fought again after both men cheated us of a fight. Floyd would won anyway, the momentum was definatley going his way in the fight, just really wished we coulda seen more because it was getting good. It's a shame really, because IMO the reps of both fighters have dropped today. That wasn't a good night for boxing.

Your probably right, I'm just a bit too pessimistic at times.

I suppose he just accepted It for what it was after his dirtiness.
