Seen a couple of dudes saying on this thread about Brook needing to face a top 10 contender. Jackiewiez is rated number 7 in the rings welterweight rankings...

I think they may have overated him. He was not in the top ten on Boxrec. They now have him ranked 33. You dont go down that much from losing one fight.
He has good choices at the top. Mosley, Berto, Ortiz, Mike Jones and the guy he has won the right to fight for a title Viacheslav Senchenko ranked 10 in the world.
the two others in the top ten are Sebastian Andres Lujan and Carson Jones but I have never heard of them. The only other guy who is not in the top ten in that devision and may be worth fighting is Paul Malignaggi.

Jackiewiez was #7 only on paper, but c'mon, Brook needs to face a real top 10..

Senchenko (WBA) or Zaveck (IBF) would get him a belt and help improve his leverage in future fights.

He was a genuine top 10 guy. He had a win over world champion Jan Zavek who was giving Andre Berto a decent scrap until the cut stopped the fight and he beat Delvin Rodriguez too. It was a great win for Kell.
