With Toney fighting Tua you would not see two boxers with 6 packs in the ring but they would have keg's

I like him but he needs to lose weight and work on his movement. Then he will once again be a factor in the HWD. He still has time.

The key will be how focussed he can remain.
245 pounds is way too heavy for TUA. He needs to be looking at 230 and he will be in great shape with quick hands. Speed is essential for him as his reach is so short.
It will also be interesting to see how he handles getting hit again with a quality opponent as he moves up the ranks. Some comebacks stop short when a returning fighter starts to feel the hurt all over again.
Tua has always had a chin of granite but you never know how solid the resolve is after a long lay off, and age can be sneaky in how it creeps up on a fighters psyche.
I really hope he has the steel determination to go through the pain barrier in the gym, on the roads and in the ring. If he does then there is going to be a straight road to a title path and I can tell one things for sure, John Ruiz won't be stepping into his path.

It took him 4 rounds to beat a 40 year old nobody. He's not back.

Come on Starr, he's just had his first comeback fight of what will probably be several in quick succession as he looks to brush off the rust and get back to business.
Sure there will be tin cans in the process but the guys power is undeniable, the question will he be able to get enough speed and movement back into the old delivery system.
    Give him a break.
If it's in his heart then he will get a title in this division. Even if it means making deals with King to ensure the fights that leave a respectable legacy.

    Um...

Cory Spinks came off a knockout loss to beat Roman Karmazin for a world title in the same arena and a weight class higher He didn't need a comeback fight neither should Tua

He looked very out of shape and way more slower then he used to be... I mean how many punches did he land on the first round? I pretty sure not more then 5 against a 40 year old man that turn pro at 35.. and yes i know about the layoff but i mean your a pro still look at Oscar he had a 2 year layoff and KTFO out of a above average guy. This should of been an easy fight for Tua... I felt like an ass telling my friends " Look guys.. check out this first round KO.... ... ... any minute now..... .... he is setting him up.... .... .. 3 mins X 4..... There it is!"

ODLH is a scarecrow, David Tua is a natural 230 pound heavyweight with a three year enforced
lay off after a looong and ugly court battle, he desperately needs to shed 15 pounds and he will be a completely different and very dangerous entity in this division
    Cheers.

Aye Shane Cameron, Tua is nothing now, took to long to get back into it. His comeback has been taking forever.

Yeah true, but at least he has started and the courtroom drag has ended.
He is overweight and he will be fighting tin cans for a wee while as he attempts to shed the weight but if he does AND he has the desire, he is still young enough to knock a lot of people over in this division right now. Arguably anyone.
It's all down to Tua really.
How much does he want it?
    How hard will he work?
    How broke is he?
