I don't believe that Margarito is not aware of what's going on with his wraps.
What would the person who tainted the wraps gain by doing it without Margarito's knowledge? When Margarito wins, he doesn't get credit because Antonio didn't know what he did. If Margarito finds out about it, he would likely get the brunt of his anger and get fired for putting the boxer's reputation at risk. So, why in blazes would he do that?
Sorry, this was a duplicate post as the above. I don't think there is a way to remove this whole panel when already posted.
The handwraps did more good to Margarito's confidence than to his punching power. Well atleast it is obvious that our fist aren't too soft compared to this plaster. Those wear plasters not iron.
When you get hit as much as Cotto got hit on the 1st fight it seems normal to get that amount of damage (see Cotto after the Pac fight). And almost all of it are caused by uppercuts. Yes, broken nose and lips. and yeah Margarito can punch with power (again, see Pac fight)
Against Mosley, Margarito got caught. His greatest benefit of 'mental edge' from the handwraps was taken away from him and to top that he knows he fu*ked up and will be in some serious issues plus Mosleys hit and hold style - he got the shiiit beaten outta him.
And on the 2nd Cotto fight he's determined, but the menta edge, the wear from the beatings he took from his previous defeats and the eye injury plus Cotto's game plan and the doctor was too huge of a mountain to climb for him.
Nuff said.
An empty can is always noisy.
