    Default Peterson vs Mayweather Anyone?

Floyd is looking for an opponent. His selling point on the Ortiz fight, was he fight a young lion in his prime. IMO, if Peterson gets that phone call from anybody from Floyd's camp, F Khan and F a rematch!!! He better make that money. But as a fan, will Peterson be a quality opponent for Floyd? And with the pressure Lamont put on his opponents, how do you see the fight going?

Not really. Khan was talking crazy in the first place.

There's no need for that. Though Mayweather will find any excuse to fight for and earn easy money.

No, at the end of the day, Lamont had a very close fight with amir khan, they're both overrated fighters...solid, but not in p4p status, not even close to floyds league, do you know what floyd would do to a guy that gets tired in match of that stature.

No thanks....... Mayweather v martinez, alvarez, cotto or pac are the ones id like to see i think all them fights would be entertaining, altho saying that floyd doesnt take many risks so he'l prob fight kahn, peterson or someone else he can take the piss out of!!

This would be a horrible idea. Peterson should stay at 140 and Mayweather is way out of his league.

Nobody, except Pac is in Floyd's league, but Peterson and Khan are 2 of the best 140 pound fighters on planet earth, so they if they are overrated then boxing sucks!

I hope im not the only one that sees this, timothy bradley is overrated as well, they are all solid fighters, but they are just not great, sure they're the best we've got at 140, but they're not fighters that will be remembered, to many holes, to many weaknesses, my best argument for this will be time, eventually they'll get they're feet wet against real competition and youl know what iam saying

They are all very good fighters, and Timothy Bradley is great, just because he doesn't have any amazing attributes doesn't mean that he isn't a beast, he reminds of me of a 140 pound Holyfield with much better boxing skills, but less powerful. I think Bradley is a tough fight for anyone and his defense is highly underrated. Go watch his fight with Peterson and tell me he isn't a class above the rest of the 140 pounders like I've been saying all along. It was a good competitive fight but Bradley was clearly a level above a very good Peterson. This guy would be tough for anyone in the sport including Pacquiao or Mayweather. I think they both should be given the edge against him, but he would make it a tough fight all the way along.

Floyd already got his gimme, it was Ortiz. After Manny vs Jmm Floyd should be standing in Mannys front yard Better off Dead style calling him out with a bullhorn. He do love the coin.

It would be a joke fight Floyd would pick him apart. I'd rather watch floyd pick on a green Alvarez than watch him fight peterson. the only fight out there for floyd is Pac and Martinez or maybe Cotto at 154.
