Lol Cotto vs Margarito was mainly the reason I thought about this thread. I also feel like a healthy (eye) margarito would have Cottos number in a 15 rounder. I'm not a margo fan but that's what I believe.

You make me laugh, kid. You dump on us for starting more Cotto threads, but you turn around and start THIS shit, knowing that you and all the Margafucko groupies will jump on it, and cry about how the fight would've been different if it had been 15 rounds instead of 12.

Fact is, Cotto kicked Margafucko's ass to the point where the fight was stopped. End of. You and your fellow groupies can cry about the fight all you want. It's not gonna change the outcome. The more you go on and on about it, the more bitter and ignorant you all sound. Gotta love it.

    Ahhhhhhh..... revenge is sweet.

I have told you many times that I was rooting for Cotto. I have never liked nor rooted for Margarito because I dislike him as a person and a fighter. What part of that don't you understand? As far as the inspiration yeah I think Cotto would lose because he seemed to slow down a lot in the 2nd fight. If Margarito had a healthy eye he would of still lost in 12 because Cotto was sticking and moving.. but 15 IDK if he has the stamina for that... Either way I'm glad Cotto won.. Something you don't seem to understand lol.

If it were still 15 rounds then you could say boxers would train for 15 rounds, so the fighters that fade in the last 2 or 3 rounds of a 12 rounder would probably do the same fade the last 2 or 3 rounds of a 15 round fight.

Cotto would be a disaster over 15 actually. Always tired after 8. Khan too and Ward today.

All programmed to go 36 minutes, but 12 rounders are crap compared to the olden days.

Boxing shouldn't be a sprint, it should be man against man for a good hour and that's what 15 rounders are.
And it was a great way of separating the good from the great. The real top-notchers could all do 15 rounds. The authorities would never revert to 15 rounders, though, in case a tragedy happened in rounds 13-15.
