Excessive glove touching is a HUGE annoyance to me. You can be a nice guy AFTER the fight when your work is done, but a fight should be all business.

Excessive glove touching is for soft minded people and indicates weakness. There is no reason why anyone should touch the glove of a man who is trying to hurt you with it. Its stupid and unecessary.

You look all the ATG fighters such as Duran, liston, robinson and even the media darling Leonard, all these guys had a mean streak and they never doid excessive glove toyching.

I think it also has to do with the era we live in. people are softer nowadays, even the boxers.
