I disagree.. the fight had a decisive winner and that man was Calzaghe.. Ultimately, it was Hopkins' low workrate that cost him again and Joe clearly outpointed him..
B.Con has that problem when up against flashy, unconventional fighters with speed/substance..
i would love to see this fight. ideally for nathan it would be in a couple of years when hes more developed. for b-hop it cant come quick enough. i think clev should fight him first chance he gets. hes gonna take atleast a decade to get anywhere near bernards skill level only chance hes got is his youth. same reason bernard can have him. it would be mega interesting. love both fighters. lets face it nothing wrong with a super test, thats the least clev can expect from a bout with b-hop. make it happen cos bhop is making older fighters look like pensioners
I didn't think Cleverly beat Bellew, Hopkins would wipe the floor with him...
I have a hard time seeing Cleverly doing much better than Pavlik... He wouldn't get schooled as badly now that Hops is older and a bit softer but he would get thoroughly outboxed either way and made to look pretty amatuerish. If he could land a fight with Hops, great, there's no shame in losing to him anyways .. Cleverly is in a win win situation unless he's mentally weak and gets psycologically damaged forever after a loss.
I doubt Hops would go for it though. I mean are there any money in this fight? It's not worth it for Hopkins , business and legacy wise..
Cleverly should stick to guys on his level, like SHumenov... That's the only titlist I see him beating ...
All the other guys pretty much kicks his ass..
