Am I'm wondering how many people that post here went to those events. While I recognize Robinson's greatnest I can't call him the most perfect fighter, cuz I never saw him. The most perfect fighter i ever saw was a 168lbs Roy Jones Jr. The 168lb pounder. Not the 175 one. At 168, I think Jones was unbeatable.

Fantastic question...but I just can't rush to answer.

I got so many men for the list...that I wish I could comprise 3 parts to make a whole.

I got the perfect 3 fighters. All within weight range. Roy Jones for the over all skill and talent package. Marvin Hagler for the chin and over all toughness. And Sven Ottke for the political connections. BAM. Perfect fighter.

The original post says in the history of the sport, people did see Robinson fight, & a lot has been written & recorded about him. So in the history of the sport I gotta go with Robinson, but who I've seen, maybe Leonard. Just remembering his fight with Benitez, he was in with a prime Benitez then, & totally dominated.

I don't know why people pick Robinson considering he would have been beaten by any of the top guys since the 80's at welterweight or middleweight.

Well considering i didnt see Robinson fight maybe i should take my comment back. Maybe Leonard then IMO, Duran was great but wasnt perfect as he couldnt change his style as effectively as others. Roy Jones has a shout at 168-a true phenomenon. Hearns with a chin mite well have been the finest fighter we ever saw....
