The Tuaman is Back !

Tua took 2 years of after the Rahman draw... ( due mainly to manager issues ) then came back & narrowly escaped against Griffis. If Lance Revill wasn't the ref, a 8 count might have been issued & Tua would have lost the decision. It took him 7 more months to get his next fight, & was taken the distance there as well. Then another 9 months for another fight. Tua is not active enough, he should have a kiwi showdown with Cameron & pass the torch.

Cory Spinks came off a knockout loss to beat Roman Karmazin for a world title in the same arena and a weight class higher He didn't need a comeback fight neither should Tua

Yeah, because boxers are all the same...

At the level people try to put Tua on, he should be able to accomplish that, and he HAS power

Really enjoyed watching Tua fight tonight , even though he was fighting sub par opposition . It’s always fun to watch David land those thunderous bombs ! Love that raw power ! he says he want to fight 4 or 5 more times before the years end, hell all he needs is little activity and he will be right back in the mix , no doubt in my mind

yeah...It was cool watching him beat the hell out of that dude.....Glad to see him back.....

The bottom line for me is this.... I would rather have Tua making a belated comeback than not at all.
In a heavyweight division where John Ruiz can get his hands on a title he will make a respectable showing and keep his opponents honest... IF he can get fit and IF he is motivated and willing.
