HA...load of piss...Bruno was a fun fighter to watch, but he was never top class. You boys think he'd do well in this era? HA...he'd be top 10 no doubt, but he lost to guys like Witherspoon and Smith before...why wouldn't he lose to fighters of a similar calibre now?

Bruno-Brewster would have been a brawl, vs Morrison, Moorer, Rudduck, and Holyfield would have also been great. Bruno vs Golota...there's a fight Franky could win!

Bruno would be top 10 no doubt but not do well in 'this era'? He'd have a row with Brewster (a decent Brewster decapitates poor Frank I reckon) Morrison, Moorer, Rudduck, Holyfield and Golota but he cant compete with the current crop?

    Dont make no sense.

I wasn't joking when I said I thought he would beat Wlad by a KO. Can't make my mind up how he would do against Vitali mind

I believe Haye would destroy Bruno though Go figure

Horses for courses mate. Frank would struggle with the natural fighters, your Brewsters Holyfields would be a nightmare for him. He'd match up quite nicely with Wlad and Vitali because they are esentially the same fighter.

    Dont make no sense.
Those fighters I listed were VERY inconsistent even Holyfield at a certain point was terribly inconsistent which is why if you get Frank on a good night and those guys on some so-so night then you'd have great action packed brawls. Golota was blueprinted quite early...if you jump on him early and hurt him he's toast. Riddick Bowe may have even been a solid fight for Bruno if we're talking Prime vs Prime, because I highly doubt Bowe's ability to handle a true power puncher. Bruno vs Rahman...another solid fight.

The Klitschko's wouldn't have much trouble with Frank as they would not be drawn into a slugfest. They would pot shot Bruno, wear him down, tie him up, and eventually Frank would swing wild, get caught and it would be all over.

I think Frank could handle a few of the guys in the current division, but let's be serious man...Bruno was an underacheiver, the build and strength he had and he would fold up vs some steadier boxers. Tony Thompson is 6'6 250 pounds, a southpaw, and has very solid defense, he's a nightmare for anyone. Eddie Chambers, small but scrappy, great defense, solid counterpuncher. Cris Arreola would get drawn into a brawl with Bruno and it's whoever doesn't get hurt and I have to figure Arreola has the better chin. Guys like Adamek, Huck, Povetkin, Dimitrenko....those guys Bruno could well beat. Arguing about it is a moot point though as Bruno isn't coming back to boxing anytime soon

In the 2nd Tyson fight Bruno looked like he was walking to the galos and crumbled badly

So apart from the 2nd Tyson fight he held his own and probably would have won most of them if his stamina didn't fail him

Bruno is a hero and very underrated

    job biscuit (Bbbrrruuunnooo)!!!

    eh eh!!!

I think you're being very kind to Frank.

He was losing to Witherspoon and was detroyed twice by Tyson and once by Lewis (although he won the jab war in the early rounds against Lewis) He was hanging on for dear life against McCall, thank god that fight didn't last another 30 seconds!
I haven't seen the Witherspoon fight for a long time, but i remember Bruno being ahead by a few rounds. And 2 of the judges had him ahead by 3 rounds.

I thought Lennox Lewis was also behind on points, or at worst for Bruno it was an even fight. Its a shame because Bruno had Lewis in trouble a few times, especially in that 7th round, but strangely he didn't take full advantage of it and he allowed Lewis to land that left hook a punch Lewis wasn't known for either.

I think barring the Tyson fights and Bruno should never have given Tyson a shot at his TITLE, Bruno was ahead on points in all his other losses.

I thought that was the case with Witherspoon...I know Whitherspoon came in unfit because he was in argument with Don King about his purse (surprise surprise)......and yes Bruno was doing well against Lewis (I was there)!!!

and I do beleive Bruno was winning against Bonecrusher until the bad stamina kicked in

So really Bruno only lost to Tyson and Lewis....the other defeats were due to stamina and DON'T COUNT!!!

so he should of finished with a nice record of 43-1 (3

    Job Biscuit (Alright Harry)!!!!

    eh eh!!
Witherspoon was well conditioned in that fight. In an interview on Box Nations, he said he was well prepared for the fight with Bruno. The fight he was not mentally and physically ready, was the one round KO by Bonecrusher Smith. That was the fight that Tim said he could not care less.

You telling me Witherspoon came to fight in condition...I don't believe it and if so if thats the reason why Bruno lost then I will have to dismiss this Bruno loss even more....Witherspoon coming to fight in condition...pleeaaazzzz!!!!!

How did you think Witherspoon took those blows. Also he did not have the best physique.

Oh I saw him give Lennox Lewis hell....but Lennox was half assing it, uninspired, and still won the fight by KO.
