More white hairs will follow superheavy, you mark my words.
Most my beard is getting white, which is why I shave it, to look young.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Hot water in the sink every morning, may skip on weekends.
Shaving foam on face and neck, start with neck, then cheeks, chin the under the nose.
All upward strokes except the chin and under the nose.
Shave twice if feel the need with downward strokes.
I find shaving every day toughens your face up a bit
Go slow with the razor and no pressure.
Every Wednesday and Sayurday unless im going for a boarder/ goatee, which I havent done for over a year. I like the feeling of a clean shave but I look like a monkey and am glad when my face has a bit of shadow to it.
Did I say monkey? I meant camel.
I've only once ever had a barber shave with a straight razor, and got damn it was good! After a 3 1/2 week trek in Nepal, got back to the hotel and had a long patchy beard. Still had the gap in my tache and not much below my bottom lip until you get to the chin. Had a proper shave and it felt awesome! Unfortunately, it's a 20 minute drive to the barbers for me, and usually I just get a short back & sides these days.
I shave my head with a disposable razor and shaving cream about once a week. I shave my face 3 or 4 days a week, leaving a small 'stash & a tuft under my lower lip which I keep neatly trimmed with small barber scissors. Sometimes I do imitations of Brando in the Godfather while i'm shaving to amuse myself.
I shave every Friday trim it by Wednesday and then shave on Friday again...
I have really sensative skin and as much as I would love to get a good ol' fashion blade shave with foam and towel the times I did try it my face was fucken red & just a mess.
So I do it myself.
I have a hot foam dispenser and just use a razor throw on the hot towel and alcohol free after shave. I let my face cool down a bit for about 15 minutes then I pluck my eyebrows and trim my nose hair and then do a face wash with my Clinique soap, followed by a dirt remover liquid. Let my face cool off for about 5 minutes and then put on my cucumber mask for 30 minutes. Rinse it off and finish it off with my Clinique cream easily THEE greatest facial cream ever....
(insert facial cream jokes here)

Complete opposite for me, Ive got sensitive skin too but a 'proper' shave set the tone for my home shaving just by paying attention to the direction the guy was going in, I copied him and I dont get shaving rash at all now.
I tried once with a straight razor, cut myself as soon as I put it on my face![]()

Every second post is just someone screaming to be the forum gay. We have Fenster trolling the main board, we have Mick and Lyle going all dandy here and Kev has just done a vanishing act entirely.
I have the Superheavy problem in that I am a little weak in the same beard growing area. I shave everyday, but on my 3 day weekends I just don't bother. I don't look great unshaven, it takes away my boyishness. Some men look rugged and cool, but not me.
I will try shaving at night time as suggested by @0james0.
Like most of you grow it for weekends and holidays, but if it is too long end up looking like a bum.
Midweek I leave a goatee.
Use a boiling glass of water to dip the cheap disposable razers which are thrown away after 3 or 4 uses.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I shave and then leave it till i start looking like a homeless guy. gel and disposables does me.
But i do like getting the barber to do a Turkish shave with a cut throat now and again as they are fucking great![]()
I was never taught how to shave with a razor properly. I got the hint from watching one of the Leatheal Weapon movies where Danny Glover was telling his son to go with the grain not against it. I discovered it saves my sensitive skin from getting all red and rashed. I use a disposable razor with gel about every other day because if I let it go longer it hurts more. I found that you have to keep the blade dry after use and it lasts much longer. I found that a good foil electric razor works best but if it is dull it will also hurt because of pulling rather than cutting. Rotor razors hurt like hell even the shape ones on me. Some other uses for the beard are: My beard is like a wire brush so I use it to attack my wife and kids sometimes....
