I have to think the time off and straight punches of Kess will serve him well with a seemingly sometimes distracted and open Green. Greens power to me is pretty over rated and over stated in that he's ko'd....? De leon jr or a Anthony Bosante? The weight may help in stamina and no drain but likewise not the same punch on a Kess who doesn't fall over. Good fight. With minimal rust gotta go Kess late tko.

Yeah Green Ko'd Codrington and has lived off that ever since. I dont think he is in Kesslers league.

Green blamed weight making issues for his losses to Johnson and Ward so he shouldnt have an excuse up at light heavyweight tonight. He will feels Kesslers shots go defensive and somewhere in the middle rounds I see him getting sparked. Bring on Kessler vs Bute after this if he moves down. If he stays at light heavy him and Pascal would be a good mix of styles.

Not that it makes much of a difference, but I believe Kessler's camp forced a catchweight for this fight at 170, which Green failed to make. He showed up at 171.

The more I think about it, the more that sounds logical. It's just I have always thought Kessler was overrated--famous for giving Calzaghe 4 good rounds. After I read Cliff Rold's piece Mikkel Kessler-Allan Green: The Pre-Fight Report Card - Boxing News, it donned on me that Kessler has beat some decent titlists and is a former champion, perhaps I was underrating him. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Kessler is a good, but flawed fighter. He has no inside game and he doesn't adjust. Every time he has stepped up, he's lost. However, he has never lost to a fighter of Green's level, and I don't imagine it'll happen tonight. At the end of the day, I'm rooting for Green, but it's an uphill battle.

Kessler is a very good fighter, let's face it he's only lost to Calzaghe and Ward so he is hardly a middle
of the road fighter.the guy has a hell of a right hand at top level you never see that many ko's why because the top contenders and champion's don't seem to have a vast gulf in skill's and toughness.
Kessler is a danger to any super middle or light hw out there the guys got class, he may be flawed
    but no one is perfect.

Sounds about right. Not many people bother to make weight in these high profile fights these days.

What makes this fight a little bit interesting is the fact that they are both damaged goods. Green is further gone but Kessler has also lost something upstairs. I expect Kessler to knock him clean out and then his camp claim that he is back and willing to fight anyone in Denmark.

What time does this fight start??
I think froch really took a lot out of Kessler tbh, Kessler won the fight and even green thought the same but still think froch messed Kessler up.

Box Nation have it at 11pm, I think so soon after that.

I think your spot on about it being in the middle. Kessler to me can be pretty frustrating, his inability to adjust in Calzaghe was glaring. I think at one point his corner was reduced to "just hit harder" or something. He doesn't do fluid and game plans c or d but he should be able to out work and push a Green has just come up short in every big dance he's been in and was bullied on the ropes by a Ward. Hoping for fireworks though, both dudes are few on tomorrows and should fight like it.

Both Fighters in the ring, anthems being sung, more then a few boos for America's NA.
