Looks like this is happening, what do you think about this rematch? Does Morales have a chance? I enjoyed the first fight but I didn't think there would be a rematch.

Morales is probably the biggest cash cow opponent Garcia can find right now and I"m sure he thinks he can do better and win in more dominant fashion.

Morales had his moments and won a good 4-5 rounds in the bout, its unlikely he wins the rematch, but if he can stay away from the big left hook he could make it close.

Yes I do agree it's a big money fight. I bet Olusegun is very happy about this one happening.

Imagine how happy Khan will be if the guy that KOd him gets beat by a fossilised Erik Morales. Morales had an operation on his gall bladder before the first fight, turned up overweight and lost his title on the scales. If Morales turns up in shape this time he could win.

Not happy about this. Morales should have stayed retired. I've been surprised he hasn't looked completely shot in his comeback, given what happened in the second and (especially) third Pac fights, but he's clearly less than 80% of what he once was. There are much more interesting fights for Garcia at 140 -- some of which I'd favor him in (Rios, Judah), many of which I wouldn't (Matthyse, Marquez, Peterson, Alvarado). So I understand why they're doing this, money-wise -- lowish risk, big reward; but it's crap from a fan standpoint.

Morales is and will always be one of my fav fighter... it's sad to see that he does persist with all the risks for his health that it does involve.

This is terrible if fact. Full respect to the fighter that used to be Morales but...Garcia deserves better. Not for Garcia really but mainly "the sport" , I'd love to see Garcia come off of huge momentum and try new things. He is talented...and new. Morales is warrior class but well done...he is now riding on the bus with Jones jr, Holyfield among others in need of stepping out of the way and letting this damn sport evolve. Garcia has earned the right to not have to go double jeopardy in order to get respect.

I agree, it's not all to unlikely Morales could win this if he can get into better form. People need to realize just how bad Khan's chin is to put this into perspective, Garcia still looked fairly crap to me against him, aside from the one left hook. Of course I'd rather see Garcia just fight Mattyhse and get ruined, but this isn't a step backwards for him as people seem to feel.
