2. Lopez over Ortiz
3. Garcia over Khan
4. Peterson over Khan

But we are in for a ride for the end of the year with good match ups. Who will be the next upset

Is Alvarado the fav over Rios? I would imagine so due to the fact that he's bigger...oh man I better make back my money that I lost against Vic.

Out of the fights listed above, ICotto has the most chance of being upset by Trout. Not saying that will happen, but there's a decent shot it does.

pacquiao vs marquez is already the upset of the year.

I said this for their third fight and I'll say it again. Marquez will win but Pac will get the nod. As for the fourth, it all depends on who aged more. I don't think if Pacquiao officially loses to Marquez it will mean anything in his legacy. After all if you fight long enough you will find your kryptonite a la Norton vs Ali. But do the fickle nature of the uneducated boxing fan who believes that being undefeated is more important than who you fight against I suppose there could be a backlash of sorts.

Anyway as for upsets Im picking Trout to win and I'll give two reasons.

Cotto is a converted boxer who requires his jab to be truly successful. Second Trout is really good at taking the jab away. A third (I know I said two) reason is Leanord Hagler early rounds. If you fight in a stance that is not an inherit one you will have difficulty against movers. I also dare say Cotto never truly beat a classy technician. I'm not saying he can't but historically a converted fighter will have more difficulty fighting a technical mover than a fighter in his natural stance.

I had been thinking for quite some time now that Nishioka had a real chance to beat Donaire. Thee officials were announced today and now he may need to bring a gun to do it. The virtual smell of Arum almost forced me outside.

Adalaide Byrd!? How does she even judge title fights anymore.
Tony Crebs? Didn't he score Broner/Ponce 99/91. I thought Broner won slim but GMAFB.
Fritz Werner. The token judge that just happens to often judge alongside Crebs.

I should clarify that for me an upset is someone who is very/heavily favorite.

If Nishioka wins I would not consider that an upset in my books.

Credit to Rios for moving up in weight and taking on Alvarado. He could have easily tried someone like Silverio Ortiz. If Alvarod wins it would be an upset because Rios is an undefeated former champ but moving up in weight can be the actual battle itself.

Danny is the most emobile fighter I've seen in some time. He reminds me of Zangiff from Street Fighter how he stands and just throws punches turning his waist with arms out. No waist movement no defense. He's there for the taking. An upset yes but not by a lot for me.

Cano ain't to slouch this kid comes to fight and someone like Paulie who likes to use ring generalship will try to outbox him it will be up to Cano to cut the corners and tag Paulie as much as possible. Will most definetly be an upset.

Mares-Moreno can't be considered an upset. Both guys are in their prime evenly matched. I can understand one being favorite over the other. But an upset like I described it, nope.com

If Hatton beats Scechenko meh! I mean who really is Sechenko?
Marquez beats Pac def. not an upset in my books and in about 90% of peoples books he's beat him at the very least 2 out of the 3 times.
Molina beating Khan meh! The way Khans career is going. It would be more of an upset if Khan beats Molina.
Peterson beating Bradley would be an upset.

From the all the ones you listed I would consider Trout beating Cotto a big upset and the only true "upset" per say...

Agree with all of that Mick. Was going to post something similar, those are just a bunch of solid matchups(wasn't even aware half of them were happening) only a couple are really one sided. I haven't even seen Nishioka fight, keep meaning to check him out. I think Moreno will beat Mares convincingly, he's way better imo but might be a little undersized there not sure. Other than that only Cotto or Hatton losing would really be shockers for me. I'm hoping like hell that Rios gets beat up against Alvarado but I do expect him to win there.
