I have lost interest in a Mayweather vs. Pacqiaou fight!

Well, sad to say it, but I don't think I will pay money to see a Mayweather vs. Pacman fight anymore. It's NOT a must see for me at this stage. The moment is gone.

That's not to say that if it becomes available that I may not try to find a way to see it, but I can give or take seeing it ever. Also, I am certainly not going to shell out bucks to see it either- if I get a chance to see it at this stage, it will be by me meeting up with friends at some bar or at a house, or something like that.

Anyone else got that feeling that the May/Pac fight is like, well, fuckitall!!

I feel the same way too. In fact it's been 3 years since Pacquiao stopped Cotto in that great fight. And I remember everyone was clamoring for a fight with Mayweather. The feeling of anticipation has long passed.

I wish both of them would just go away now.

I don't think it can generate the millions it was supposed to, let's say, 4 years prior or even 2 years prior. The fan moment is gone man. We may end up seeing it- some of us would prefer the replay on youtube or dailymotion- but as it stands now, I think a 1/4 of what it would have generated 2-3 years ago is GONE.

There are alot of people- and if you read this thread, you will see- like me who just don't care either way anymore. It would be just another fight- and that hype job over the possibility of this fight happening, and it not happening, has spoiled it.

I can't remember ever a fight with such significant fighters being missed like this... we eventually had Lewis/Tyson (for what it's worth) we had Lewis/Holyfield, we had Holyfield/Tyson, but we didn't have Bowe/Tyson or Lewis. But, we didn't really clamour to see it....

This was the biggest fight EVER, 3 years ago. But now, no one is interested in this... boxing went with this non-fight, in my opinon.

We are now on to the OTHER stars and their lack of fights- Alvarez and Ward. These are the only two men, at this time, worth spending money on. Not even Floyd anymore... unless he fights Alvarez, and not even Pac-man.

I am still interested in the fight. Floyd can't stop training and Manny, I'm sure, would put in the work if the fight were to happen. It has lost the momentum with the fans at large, but hardcore fans would still be excited to see it. Even buy it without telling anyone.

All i've got to say is join the club, and at this point if it did happen, I believe Pacquiao and his fans would be disappointed. Mayweather would dominate him, and the fight wouldn't be competitive.
