    Default Adamek-Cunningham

How does a judges scorecard change like that Such a shame, great fight only to be ruined by controversial and bad judging. Cunningham won that fight.

It was shaddy at the end, but the decision in itself isn't bad, I had adamek winning by a couple rounds, but very close fight.

I thought Cunnigham won by a round or two, he controlled a lot of the fight with his jab and landed some cracking right hand counters. Adameck fought in patches, but he did land some good shots too. It was an enjoyable fight so thats the main thing, but Im pretty sure Cunnigham landed and threw more.

@Spicoli would you care to tell our friend Danny here how long you've been seeing scorecards change on the spot

    I don't blame Buffer...
I blame the person in charge for adding up the final scores.

But yeah I've seen scores change for the worst. This was a close fight that could have gone a Draw or Steve's way. By no means a robbery or a bad call.

Spicoli remember that Harada-Famechon 1 debacle? Yeah...

Personally, had it a draw. Cunningham won many rounds convincingly , while Adamek won some close rounds. I gave the first 4 to SC and last 4 to TA

We're going to have to wait a couple of days until the story comes out. I think it was a stupid addition mistake.
Whether it was a mistake or not you would think they would take extra care to get it right the first time.
It was a very close fight and I can see how someone could have it going the other way.

No doubt. Gone are the days, thankfully, where an active fighter can serve as a ref. Respect for Pep but he was serving as a celeb-ref and once a year just don't cut it for those high stakes. No robbery though tonight..just what you prefer-effect etc.

These 'mishaps' have happened. Still not clear what this was here but much better than a Stevie Johnston regaining...losing...and handing his former strap over in the dressing room to Castillo because some numb nuts couldn't add. Or Castillo losing it for that matter. That was ugly. I thought Buffer blew the read at first but who knows. Why they didn't reset and re read scores tonight still smells a bit....it was all very "ohhh btw..you lose, please tip your waiter...goodnight"

I was rooting for Adamek, even tho it was difficult as Cunningham is a class act.

That said, I thought it was a draw or Cunningham nicked it. If anyone deserved to get the "W" it was Cunningham not Adamek. He was just too lazy and tried to rely on stealing rounds.

I was surprised as hell at the amount of hard right hands that Steve was able to take without being knocked down
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

And the ones he dished out too, he landed some cracking shots against Adameck.

Even the recount was wrong then, thats 7-5 in the midde card so 115-113 Adamek not 115-112.

From what i heard about the fight was that is was a glorified sparring session where Ademek fought the last 20 seconds of the rounds and Steve was boxing and content using his reach and height advantage.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Correct on Adameck fighting for the last 20 seconds, but in a lot of rounds it was more like 10. I personally thought it was a good fight, no way it was a glorified sparring session.
