Mayweather has no issues fighting the best at 147 and even going up to 154 while hatton tasted 147 one time and has decided to go down.

Why won't Hatton give Collazo the rematch he promised he would is the question you should ask first!Originally Posted by porkypara
When did hatton promise a rematch, ermmm never!

He promised a rematch at the post fight press conference!!!![]()
If thats what he said then i hope one day we get to see it, I also think Hatton can do much more as a welter. When he moved up he broke a very tried and tested regime, with adjustment over time I think he could do much better as a welter than he did, and he didn't do badly against a very very good fighter in Luis Collazo. In thime i think people will realise that Collazo is a potential P4P top 10 fighter.

I never thought leaving Frank warren could be a bad thing for any boxer but i gotta agree with you on this oneOriginally Posted by porkypara

My ideal situation here would be for Floyd to take Baldomirs championship then make 140 pounds to face Hatton with both championships on the line!

I think you are going a bit overboard with Collazo.Originally Posted by yoitsdan

Off the top of my head I can think of at least a dozen welters who would rate above or equal to him, Mayweather, Margarito, Baldomir, Spinks (if he comes back down), Cotto( if he moves up), Zab Judah, (still a top class fighter), Quintana (on a par), Cintron, Williams, Mosely (if he comes down), Julio (still great potential and he says he wants back at 147lb, Ishe Smith (great talent though credibility was damaged by Contender, Clottey (could be a dark horse), and Andre Berto who is definitely a top prospect to look out for and might yet settle into welter division as he rarely weighs more than 150 for a fight.
Considering the potential depth of talent at 147 now I'd say Colazzo will be forgotten within a couple years
I agree with what your saying but put Collazo in with any of the guys you mentioned bar Mayweather & he'd be even money IMOOriginally Posted by bilbo

i dont blame PBF tho before this was his biggest fight out there. but if OSCARS and option shiiiiiiiiit PBF should do everything it takes to make the OSCAR fight go happen. that will be his biggest mother pay day ever! 20million reasons. if PBF choses to fight Hatton on his bday in feb then that would be good, but i dont really see it happening until after the 20million oscar pay day.
out of curiousity how much is that amound of money if u converted it into US dollars for us ignorant US folks?
No, thats the question YOU should ask first. No one else gives a fuck.Originally Posted by Starr

With PBF moving to 154 for the Oscar fight and probably his next fight too, unless Hatton comes to 1147 after the Oscar fight,I don't see it happening, unless Floyd drops back to 140 at some time but that's alot of weight jumping! As for Collazo,he's a dangerous opponent and I admit,I did not think much of him at first but I think he's a good fighter.Hatton did promise a rematch and Collazo said he would go to England but I don't see it happening!
IMO that should have been the fight to make. Hatton Collazo in the states isnt that big, but take it to the UK and its a winner.
