If GGG is not ready for Martinez, is he ready for Jcc Jr? How do you see that fight?
I think it'll be close. Junior gets alot of stick but his chin is solid and I'd like to see what Golovkin does when someone doesn't fall and keeps on coming.

Sergio has no interest in someone like GGG! He prefers to fight someone who doesn't even know how to throw a jab, and that someone is also a "meal ticket"! I don't blame Sergio for searching for the best pay day but in an era where champions are cherry picking all the time the two middleweight champions could & should fight each other! Its a shame when decent fighters refuse to challenge themselves to fight the best competition. My guess is GGG is willing! Ray.

Of course GGG is ready, it's the biggest pay day of his career! I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I would almost prefer to see Quillin versus GGG for the fight with Sergio.

GGG's management has made it pretty obvious that all the middleweights have had offers to fight him but no one seems interested. Thats why he's fought who he's fought his last two times out!
If there were two federations like in the past atleast we'd see manditory fights once a year or every 15 months. Two to many money groups and far too many weight classes!
Eliminate the catch "the extra money" weight classes and return to the 8 to 12 pound differences.
105/112/119/126/135/147/160/175/HvyWt. you can have the cruiser in there (191lbs.) but it won't be that long before the "oversized" heavies are gone. You'll see the return to 6'3" 225lb men. Ray.

GGG has been avoided certainly by Strum.

Ray is right. From what I understand, many of the top middleweights declined to fight him, including Quillin, N'Jikam, Sturm, and Geale.

GGG was Sturm's mandatory for a long time.

If this fight took place in six months to one year, I'd pick Martinez but let's reserve judgement until we see his condition in his next defense.
