You don't start like this for a debut. Just insulting to everything else on the card too.
Hang on, he's a 2 time Olympic gold medalist, show some respect!

Here we go with the main event, Zou Shiming vs. Eleazar Valenzuela.
Geezuz, you'd think the way the Chinese are playing up the main event, that we're getting ready to see, Ali-Frasier I. 300 million watching this fight?

Lets hope that Valenzuela hands the "fists of gold his ass."

    No.

He is a pro debut fighter. That is all.

The Olympics is nothing to do with being a real boxer.

Valenzuela chasing the 32 year old Zou around in the ring in the 1st round, Zou took the 1st round.

Zou is winning, but like I said before he is nothing special. 31 and in a small division and these hypists are just getting silly. Merchant is drunk as heck too.

North Korea just shot down the Satellite link,

I'll come back and watch this on HBO2 in a couple of hours.

Ha! I wish, if this main event wasn't already lame enough, the Satellite link goes belly up.

Looks like Zou decided to listen to his trainer and safely outclassed Eleazar for six rounds. Besides being able to showcase his evasive and timing ability, there was nothing out of the ordinary. He'll probably get matched with several fighters of similar caliber until his record is padded enough for a China-sized payday against Viloria.

For any of you interested, the HBO2 tape-delay of these fights is just starting.

At Macau (HBO2): Zou Shiming vs. Eleazar Valenzuela, 4 rounds, junior flyweights; Roman "Rocky" Martinez vs. Diego Magdaleno, 12 rounds, for Martinez's WBO junior lightweight title; Brian Viloria vs. Juan Francisco Estrada, 12 rounds, for Viloria's WBA/WBO flyweight title

Damn, I hope Merchant is just shitfaced and didn't have a stroke or something, he looks and sounds frail.

I have to say it is very refreshing to have seen a card like this. All fights were excellent, very impressed with Estrada, Melindo and the Penalosa brothers. A lot of good fights and great time for us in Ireland getting Saturday afternoon boxing. I hope China keeps going with these good cards.
