    Default Floyd vs ??????

We all want Floyd vs Canelo. And timing says, they should fight! And above all, it's the fight that could make the most money. Nonetheless, we all know we can't say who Floyd will fight.

But I'm going to give it a try, to try to figure out who Floyd COULD fight in September with all the top fighters busy right.

    1. Paul Malignaggi? If Paulie can somehow defeat Broner this coming June 22nd, would that fight sell and do anybody think Floyd would be interested. Not to mention, Paul holds the WBA title.

    2. Danny Garcia? Danny Just beat Zab but is slated to fight the winner of Petterson vs Matthysee. But Floyd can stop that from happening if he choose Danny. Plus the daddy/trainers would be interesting.

    3. Winner of Peterson vs Matthysee? Would the winner be a better sell for Floyd then Garcia?

    4. Cotto? Rematch

*This list is with the exception of Canelo
*BTW, Why no one is asking Canelo to come down to 147 to fight Floyd?

Man, if I see another speculative thread about this I'm gonna hunt down the thread starter and write "I don't give a fuck" on his head.

Khan is next in my book, they've already did khan a solid by bumping him up the rankings, undeservedly, if it ain't him they fucked up.
    You say tomato,

I'd take Danny Garcia just to shut Angel up when his boy gets schooled by Floyd.

LMAO. Now that the fight is over, what is it left for us to talk about?

Khan won't fight in September because of the holiday.

the canelo fights not going to happen canelo comes in on fight night 170+ lbs if i was floyd i would tell him if he wants the fight come down to 147 its canelo who is wanting the fight. Cotto rematch will never happen why would it the 1st fight was all floyd i would like to see the khan fight hes got faster hands than floyd would be interesting for a few rounds till floyd walks him into a big right hand.

I want anyone who has a realistic chance of beating Floyd which is either Saul or Sergio at the higher weights the rest are not worth tuning in for.

Well they will have around 25lbs weight advantage so it's not realistic it's going to happen

    Lol.

Theres alot of these threads going on.

Canelo is the new pacman and we cant really blame people for trying to get the best match up for floyd.

But as someone mentioned earlier on, if canelo wants it so bad he needs to come down to 147.

Why should Canelo go down to welterweight, he draws bigger than Floyd and is more exciting. Floyd needs a name opponent otherwise he will wind down his contract fighting B level welterweights for the remaining 5 fights.

    Canelo more exciting?!

mmm...Depends on what type of boxing match you want to see.

I think your right though, as the masses like that type of fighter but the other type of fan likes the boxing science and poetry which is all in what floyd does.

That money floyd generates says otherwise but with a massive percentage wanting him to loose he will always attract.
