Haye is a very good fighter and is currently holding the #3 slot for me. He deserves a shot at Vitali. My only criticism is the inactivity altho' not his fault with the last injury. He has beaten some very dangerous fighters in his career and has always looked for the best opponents at heavyweight. I hope he beats Fury, who's a very strange person and reminds me a bit of Joe Bugner and is probably at a similar level of ability, which is not a criticism. Fury's eccentricity is growing on me mind in terms of entertainment value.
One of the more ridiculous issues is that Vitali still has the most prestigious belt, when is he going to defend it??
Anyway, I hope Haye knocks Fury out. But a lot of people will still say "so what" after he does.. unfairly so in my eyes..
I think Haye vs Vitali would be a great fight! A definite shootout!
It would be a tremendous victory for Vitali but a very dangerous opponent for him this late in career. I don't think he'd go for it.
If Haye were to win it would not only damage Vitali's credibility but Haye would not get as much credit as he would really deserve for it because ppl will say that Vitali was shot, past it and Haye waited to get him in his 40's.
Haye had everything that it takes to make it to the top bar the massive size some heavies have on him but the thing that really might have kept him from the top the most is his unstable chin!

See and that's another thing that bugs me. He should be attempting to get another shot at Wlad not the half retired on the slide brother. What next he challenges him after he becomes president of the Ukraine? The only difference between him and a 2 year old male black bear recently curbed by his mother is that Hayes opportunism is premeditated and dare I say scripted almost to the point of inducing the gag reflex. Somebody above me said he deserved the fight. How so?
If Haye worked as hard in the ring as he does talking and promoting himself then he would have had a shot. David Haye is a part time fighter FACT. And it's tough because he IS talented but he's not pressing to get the most out of his skills.
I can't get past Fury's mouth anymore. Shut up and fight, damn it! It' drives me crazy to see a fighter, continually, beating his chest.
Having said that, I know it's all about the money and the biggest mouth will get the most attention. I'm sure Haye would/will get rid of Fury pretty fast.
It's all about the money, so if Haye (or any fighter) retires with a pile of money and their wits, I think they have had a successful career whether or not they became the champion. With so many belts floating around, it's a good chance they couldn't avoid one on the way up anyway.
it doesnt matter if he deserves or not, there have been plenty of occasions where a fighter deserves a fight with someone and doesnt get it and nobody bats an eyelid because hes not very interesting
i dont care for justice i just want to be entertained
id much rather see a klit fight someone who could possibly beat him that another fighter who he would just hug to death and wouldnt offer anything else
id much rather watch a decent fight than a well deserved snooze (mind you with wlad involved it probably would be a snooze anyway so it might be a bad example)
and really very few other fighters have shown that they deserve it anyway
look at provetkins last few fights before the wlad fight, haye probably did more in the same time
and i would say the boxing community would choose the fight, if you put all boxing fans on a "how much do you like david haye" graph, lovers on the left, haters on the right and everyone else in the middle, then you took the middle chunk of least bias and most impartial fans, i reckon youd get a majority proportion interested in the fight![]()
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
You know it would be different if a talent such as Haye was in that 140/147 area. There would be a cause for pause but not here. What he has in front of him is perhaps the weakest Heavyweight division since the Marciano timeline and Haye just waits out all the work and then starts calling out about a 60% Vitali who has one foot out the door.
It makes little difference to me or the division that he beats the modern day Primo Carnera in Fury. It bothers me that he’s satisfied by the circus. He has had the tools to absolutely railroad this division and he’s pimped it instead.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
David Haye? Can somebody tell me which fight I should watch, the one in which he demonstrates all these incredible world-beating skills?
Most of his entire career at cruiser is on the next level to all others.
At heavyweight his destruction of Harrison and Chisora are most impressive.
And he hung well with Wlad and gave up over a hundred lbs and nearly a foot in height to outwork Valuev.

How the holy fuck did "America's broken healthcare system" find it's way into that article? Here's the issue, Magomed was easy to hit....THAT and THAT ALONE is why he is in the state he is in. Should other boxers and Magomed's promoters step up and help out his family? HELL YES. But that's beside the point.
Boxing is dangerous but LIVING is dangerous. A light bulb could go out and you could have to get a ladder to change the bulb.....you could fall and break your neck. Boxing is something you do knowing it's dangerous from the start, nobody thinks about the mundane ways they could meet their maker but it happens faaaaar more often than boxers dying or getting injured.
