Ward needs to continually prove himself to you guys. And I think he should, he will and will continue to excel.

Put anyone between 154 to 175 in with Ward and he will clean them up and out.

Who I would like to see Ward in with:
GGG, Chavez Jr., Froch 2, Kessler 2, Martinez, Quillin and Barker. Ward wins them all. Any combination of fights you throw at him.

He looks boring, like Floyd, because he wins handily and with relative ease.
    No!

You are trying to make a comparison on the basis that Ward wins.

Mayweather just fought the biggest threat available to him around his weight, even moved up a weight to face him, not drag him down like dopey old Dawson. Alvarez was and is a massive star but Mayweather beat him by completely boxing his ears off! He didnt hold or butt or have any points deducted, what Floyd did was sublime and masterful.

Ward just fought who? And he was deducted points because even Wards refs have a breaking point.

What Ward did was take advantage of what refs will let him get away with.

    Hes like Mayweather! fuck off!

Ward has beat better fighters than Mayweather has in the last three years in my opinion.

I think the only place to go is up. He should face the top 175ers.

The only fight I'm interested in that has a realistic chance of happening is Froch 2 if he's successful against Groves. Its a huge money fight and even bigger in England. He's earned his second go imo and is the second best man in the division. What more can you ask for if he plans on staying at 168?
I just dont see Ward leaving the womb.

And if he plans on moving up then he needs to quit saying things like this,

Andre Ward lays down gauntlet by declaring to knockout ‘delusional’ Froch in rematch

*There were times when the fight got boring..and the holding was alittle too much. A lot was initiated by Rodriquez, but ALOT was Ward. It takes talent to fight like Ward..u never know what he's gunna do. very tuff guy to fight.
Did Rodriquez tactics work?...They did. If u look at when the points were taken away, Rodriquez did nothing sooo bad to where Ward had to flip his lid...to be honest, Ward is the one that should've been deducted..but at the time, it was alittle crazy.
Ward continued to hold Rodriquez head down, he cont to rabbit punch, and cont to lead with his head... and cont to win.

p.s they mentioned GGG... it would get interesting. knowing that GGG has beaten guys like Depaigne, Dirrel, etc in the amatuers...it would be interesting to see what GGG would do to beat Ward.

Size would play a big role in that fight. Ward is a legitimate super middleweight. GGG is a legitimate middleweight. I'd prefer to see Ward in against guys like Hopkins, Pascal, Kovalev and Stevenson, assuming they are victorious in their next fights. In my opinion, Ward should face Hopkins in a torch-passing fight so to speak.

*I agree... it's not a fight i'd like to see, being a fan of GGG...but, I see it heading that way. I have to give it to GGG. in a time where no one really wants Ward... GGG invites a poss matchup in the future. Ward is 168, but easily light heavy... although I see GGG getting hit a lot, I know he'd land a crushing blow to Ward... I just want to see what happens when Ward really gets clipped.

I think Ward gets a bleed over effect from previous fights concerning last night. He looked excellent and was fighting a combination of John Ruiz + Ricardo Mayorga + Carlos Maussa. Rodriquez was warned SIX times in the first 2 rounds and at the deduction literally had Ward in a head lock and laced the ref. I'm surprised Ward didn't take a ring stool to him frankly. Ward did very well to keep his composure and pull away to put on a schooling. Not sure who is next but I can't see a Froch fight going any different from first. Badou Jack at random? Slim picking now.

There's no denying Ward is a dirty fighter. He punched and held quite a lot. Jab hold. Jab hold. He also used his head. No one can beat it though. That's the bottom line. Top boxers can't even take multiple rounds off him. He should face Hopkins in a passing of the torch fight.

That would be ideal, literal passing of the torch. Though honestly not sure most fans could imagine more than a pose & poke fiesta. I'd watch. Ward has done some dirt, but last night he was upstaged with it and he beat the kid up legit. Ward will have some time until Lt heavy settles..Kovalev-Stevenson-Hopkins so be very interesting to see what Ward does.

If the ref doesn't call it....it's legal

There are a lot of options for Ward without going up to 175, a pretty moneyless division. But there are options there for him as well as at a catch-weight and at middle.

HBO has NOT packaged him properly, quite frankly. He is a stellar, top notch, quality fighter. He is as good as they come...

What should he do to "please" you people? Get knocked out? It's a shame he is fighting in the era of Floyd Mayweather, and his flamboyancy.

Ward needs to be packaged properly. Better than what he has been packaged as. Shit, Tim Bradley has better packaging than Ward and we all know Ward is 3 times better than Bradley on a moderate night.

Ward needs better packaging and fight hype.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!
