They would probably say they always had feelings or urges to go that way.
Lets take someone like elton john who used to be married or whatever, perhaps he would say he suppressed those feelings during marriage or he might have felt completely straight.
Have you ever knocked one out looking at a man? If not you're not gay. Simple.

Tut-tut, Ross. Be as tolerant as you want everyone else to be. If you can.
    Tolerant?

    Of what?

    Ignorance?

Each to their own and I think everyone agrees that what really gets up most peoples noses is when an opinion is preached upon you. Not a differing opinion but actual gospel that "im sorry I have a different opinion" but "no, gays can deffinitly be fixed like a broken leg".
The woman kept asking him questions until she got the reaction she wanted, then she says they shouldn't be talking about it.
Does that set off any alarms for you?
You ask a person a question, he gives you his honest opinion, but it's not the answer you want so you drag him over the coals. Seems intolerant to me, a little like the Inquisition.
Reality shows thrive on controversy and that's what's happening.
Personally I don't agree fully with anything Holyfield said, but you are not going to change anyone's mind if you call him a .....sulky cock?

I watched it, she didnt really question him at all. When he started saying what he thought about gays all she said was I dont think we should talk about it in here. I actually think she was trying to shut him up to save him from himself.

You don't think that you've been conditioned to hold that opinion. Only people who don't follow your line of thinking have been brainwashed? irony at it's worst.

Homsexuality ISN'T 'normal', it doesn't have to be... that doesn't mean that it is immoral or 'wrong'.

I wonder why you are so threatened by it? I doubt you can give more than a vague, weak answer, you can't come up with actual reasoning because it is just a belief that society has installed into you, not one you've reached on your own. Ironically you think that people that are not threatened by and can accept those that are different to the norm are the ones whom are brainwashed. No. They're the ones that can reason logically for themselves.
You're really not very bright, something I doubt you'll ever grasp.

'Brainwashed'... lol! The whole cliched alpha male stereotype that you try so desperately to conform to is fucking brainwashing...

I believe you, but that's not the way it was presented in the article I read.
I don't watch many "Reality Shows". I've learned that it's a very well managed reality most of the time.
One thing is an absolute, controversy can help with the ratings.

Maybe the fact that people are more open about their sexuality these days, yet still get looked at as freaks, just highlights how bad it was for people in the past.

Whoever said they "chose" to be gay?
Do you believe they chose to be gay or were born gay fenster?
I've never heard a gay person say they chose to be gay.

I don't know if they would tell you the truth if they did choose. Think about it.
It would be a pretty stupid choice if they chose to be gay.
They are thought of as freaks.
    They are called names.
    They are laughed at.
    They are avoided.
They are disowned and tossed out of the house, sometimes.
They are beat up and killed, sometimes.
They all or almost all lead a double life at one time or another.
Anyone who thinks that gays choose to be gay are wrong in my opinion.
It would probably be better to say that 95% only have one choice they can live with.

Everyone can be as gay as they want to, as long as they don't insist that I support it. I can accept it but I'll never fully understand it or support it.

Homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom too. That's about all you need to know on whether people choose to be gay or not. I doubt hedgehogs and dragonflies etc (yes there are gay hedgehogs and dragonflies) have well developed reasoning capabilities to decide their sexual orientation. Its clearly with you from birth in some shape or form.

And whats more, the world has a huge over population problem which is only going to worsen in the future. At least gay people aren't spawning 11 children like Holyfield has. The more gay the better is what the planet Earth would say if it had a voice.

You should probably study history before you make claims like that. Nobody gave shit about homosexuality in the old bath house days. Ceasars had statues built of their lovers. Greeks named cities after their lovers. The Japanese used to not differentiate between sexes at all. If a traveler stayed at your place you probably banged, they didn't care. You can see dude on dude in tantra, carved in hieroglyphs etcetera. Hate wasn't always taught about sexual preference.

What on earth has the animal kingdom got to do with it?!

    We are humans.

If the earth had a voice it wouldnt be saying more gays as the ability to populate the earth would stop.

And lets not get started on the many diseases that have or may not have been spread through certain acts.

Theres even two men that bring up children nowadays, surely the child will be influenced by that.

A mate of mine who was in the British army said in Iraq (I think, some middle east country anyway) that men comsidered women for babies and men for pleasure

They also scrape shit of their ass with their bare hand and use the other for shaking hands

Humans are animals, even a devout creationist wouldn't make qualms about that surely? We don't choose to be most things we are just like any other creature. Why would the earth want us to populate further if it were somehow a sentient thing? Don't have sex with men if you're worried about all the stds that are exclusive to gays, though I'm not aware of any myself.

I do agree gay men shouldn't raise children though, but what do you think about lesbian couples who choose to? It's priceless that most of the religious twits practically disregard gay women as if that's another issue God is fine with them I suppose?
