Default Juerghen Braehmer vs. Enzo Maccarinelli for WBA Title April 5th in Germany

EXCLUSIVE: Maccarinelli nears shock world title fight with WBA light heavyweight champion Braehmer | Mail Online

Apparently Maccarinelli has landed himself a shot at the WBA Light-Heavyweight World Title on April 5th in Germany. Macca has looked done a few times but Braehmer aint all that and he has a real punchers chance here. Can he take it?

Its trua. He should have retired Lebedev but stuck around to get KOd horribly by Frenkel and then by McKenzie.

That McKenzie stoppage was one of the worst stoppages ever though. The referee knew as soon as he'd jumped in that he'd made a horrible mistake. He was European Champion going into the Frenkel fight and was winning at the time of the stoppage, but it should have been stopped after the first knockdown (I was there for that one).

I've actually seen Enzo fight live 4 times and on 3 of those occasions he was brutally stopped (Haye, Afolabi & Frenkel).

Correct. But he should have lost to Brick head McPhilbin and Im sure the shots he took early in that fight did him no good

Yeah he's taken way too much head trauma, a few too many brutal stoppage losses.

He should probably quit while he can still spell his name.

... and they could find no one else for this fight? What a shame boxing politics is.

Frenkel could have killed him here... should not have been allowed to continue after the first knockdown. He was clearly out on his feet- punch drunk.

When I see people getting upset with a ref because he stopped a fight when a guy beat the count but was wobbly on his feet, I think of this fight.

Boxer's are too tough for their own good and need to be rescued by the refs when they are out of it, and this is the perfect example. BRUTAL knockout.

Enzo will go to Germany for the pay day win lose or draw,! yes he is past his best but if he hits
Braehmer sweet Enzo will be champ, very unlikely but this is boxing and anything can happen.
