Forget the UFC over boxing for money/fame/popularity angle. That's nonsense as I was originally arguing in this thread. The UFC can't touch boxing globally.

However, at 6'1 that UFC champion is a similar stamp to Povetkin and Haye, who Wlad had to hold within 30 seconds of facing them. The second he gets close to this guy it's game over. Its a boxing forum so obviously most are going to be biased towards boxing but the skill level is similar if not higher in MMA. In MMA you have to adapt to your opponents game as well as being skilled in more then one area. Apart from maybe Jiu Jitzu experts its rare you will see a guy with just one expertise be dominant in MMA.
