He does have big power and some tricky countering ability for his size, I'd give him a good chance to beat anyone aside from Wlad given that, I think.
His punch resistance was looking like dry toast there a bit, hurt about 4,5 times. Stiverne literally picked his spots few and far between but was quick and accurate..short circuit you kind of shots not heavy

    You are joking?

Other than catching a shot Arreola he was getting outboxed and worked over on the ropes. He didnt look good.
How many Stiverne fights have you seen Ross and no offense but its a little harsh to be shitting on him and be drooling over Fury at the same time.
Yea was just thinking that. Stiverne would be a night mare for Fury. Arreola should fight the winner of Chisora v Fury in the UK.
    Decapitation.
Why is he going to be allowed to take a sawn off in the ring with him?

Stiverene wouldnt get past the jab.
What's ur logic behind this brain buster Ross? Far lesser boxers have got past Furys jab.

Stiverne V Haye is an interesting fight.

I actually enjoyed his pre-fight interview with Arreola. His commentary though...is still rough.

You would want to waste a year of the WBC title doing nothing?

    Fuck Haye.

He was too scared to face Fury Twice! intimating retirement without announcing retirement so he didnt look like a cunt when he crawled out from Furys shadow.

No I wouldn't want Haye to win bit it's an interesting matchup. Haye would be harder to hit then Arreola and in terms of hand speed he's probably faster then Stiverne.

I really don't care who he fights I just hope it's not Wlad. This was probably the best heavyweight world title fight I've seen in the last 5 years so want them to keep on coming.

On a completely different note...Fox sees fit to cut off its live baseball running over so that a mma card will start on time at 9

Dana White is probably in the production truck holding a knife to a kitten or some shit

He probably couldnt knock down Cassius Clay but Cooper could

He knocked out Huck but Povetkin couldnt

Stiverne is another Berto. He's already been stopped and held to a draw. He has no work rate, foot work or head movement, just a quick right hook.

Any good boxer will deal with him.

Right now Arreola is his best win. So far at heavyweight he hasn't beaten anyone better than Adamek has

No come on, other than Arreola who doesn't have any good wins, who has Stiverne looked good against? Demetrice King? Charles Davis?

Not necessarily. The only consistent thing about the WBC is its inconsistency and besides as a new champion he should be entitled to an optional. In addition a fight with Wlad nets them a shit load of sanctioning fees. Wlad could run into mandatory problems though.

Yep. I think the networks might have some pull in that as well. They've wanted a US/NA heavy for a while now.

Has the Jennings-Perez fight been postponed or cancelled? I imagine the winner of that will fight the winner of Stiverne-Wilder. Could be 12-18 months before a Wlad fight. Speaking of Wladimir...the IBF has stated he must face Pulev next.
