Stevenson trying to pump Fonfara up and make him more than he really is. I do give Stevenson some credit. He got dropped and came back hard. Problem is Fonfara shouldn't be dropping him

Good on Jim Grey keeping it real....Interpretation on Kovalev fight *If they make me fight him, I guess I will have to*

On a side Fonfara does a great Andy Kaufman

Like Matthysse Molina. Showtime have lucked out on entertainment value for some of their fights recently. Mayweather Maidanan even.

I think it's safe to say Kovalev knocks Stevenson out.

Hubris is a word I find myself using a lot these days in relationship to boxing.

I picked Kovalev to beat Stevenson as early as anybody else. I'm a massive Kovalev fan. But I don't think Stevenson is scared to fight him even if Stevenson thinks he'll probably lose. What Stevenson is scared of is not maximising the amount of money he can make before his 36 year old bubble bursts. He's wanting to make the most money he can before he retires so that he doesn't have to go back to his former profession or something similar. You can't blame the guy for that.

If you paid him enough money to fight Kovalev he'd get in the ring with him tomorrow morning. If he can make more money going to Haymon then you can't blame him for doing that. This is prizefighting. It's all about the benjamins.

Unless Bernard Hopkins has faded since his last fight, I'm quite certain he'll beat Stevenson by decision when they fight.

That would put him in my top 20 all time for sure.
Taylor wasn't clever and he was able to beat Hopkins twice. I'd say Stevenson has shown that he's able to make adjustments in the ring better than Taylor could. Also seems like Stevenson can fight a bit inside which is important against Hopkins. If Stevenson doesn't go balls to the wall for the KO early as he did in this fight I think he can beat Hopkins by out working him. Hopkins is more than willing to let you work at a slower pace.

I dunno about certain but his chances have def improved. I've picked him to beat Stevenson before and still do, now with a little more confidence.

Excellent fight tonight. Fonfara is one tough TOUGH SOB.

From the way Stevenson talks, the decision is out of his hands anyway. Haymon picks the opponents, and that's based on the money, PLUS keeping that/those belts under their control. Al Haymon = Don King with 10 times the smarts minus the dark side.
Forgot to say, you are right and I agree with you totally. Lol
