Atlas uses a lot of other USA sports analogies particularly baseball which I do not understand

Not at all. Steve Bunce has no personal or profession experience with boxing.

Teddy has lived most of his life in boxing. He fought as an amateur and has been a trainer for decades.

To say he's Steve Bunce is retarded.

Both are excused for their rants under the guise of "passion", both claim to be straight shooters when they aren't and both tend to be irritating. They might have their differences but they have a lot of negative similarities, to not see them is blind.

Steve Bunce has zero experience in a boxing ring whereas Teddy has trained up and coming, current and former world champions for over 30 years...
To not recognize this difference shows you're a moron.

I do recognise that difference, I also recognise both irritate me, neither engage brain before speaking and, despite his experience, Atlas seems unable to understand that professional boxing is about clean accurate punching as opposed to smacking air.

Atlas kicks Bunce's ass in a 4 round fight.

I just scrolled down this thread and there's another 5 threads about this man. Why keep talking about him? The guy's claim to fame is pointing a gun at 13 year old Tyson and having his HW champ get knocked out by a 50 year old man. The guy's a mediocre commentator also.

Surely you'd do a better job of gun wielding, training and commentating.

    Nice face by the way.

Since you like to bring up how connected Atlas is in boxing, I'll name a few guys a lot better than Atlas at commentating and also well connected to the sport.

Ray Leonard, George Foreman, Paulie Malignaggi, Andre Ward, Roy Jones, Antonio Tarver. If ABC/ESPN wanted an insightful and excellent commentator, hire those guys. At least 3 of them aren't under contract. Many classes above Atlas when it comes to commentating and some of them has more knowledge on the sport than he does, who is very mediocre at what he does.

He's been doing Friday Night Fights for over 15 years. I guess his employers like him and his show must be getting good ratings... You don't have to watch him if you don't.
