I really enjoyed this fight, Crawford made a believer out of me. There was no question about who the better fighter was.

I always enjoy seeing Gamboa fight with his hands up and dawn the peekaboo style he plays around with in the gym, using head movement and quick feet to explode past the jab at an angle and rip heads with the left hook. But then I wake up.

I don't think he has a weak chin, the guy recovers like a freaking monster. He''s just so used to being physically dominant over guys he's maybe abandoned some of his skills, he relies on diving in and doesn't have the defensive skills of a guy like Crawford. Either way just based on tonight man, Gamboa is basically a cyborg.... Crawford strikes me as an extremely specially fighter, didn't have any clue the guy was that tough.
Gamboa has always had a weak chin he just has a huge heart and determination

So where does Gamboa go next? He bulked up to get to 135 and was getting his supplements from the same lab as A Rod. Can he go back down? Does he stay at 135 and if so who f=does he fight? Does the singing group 50 cent remain a promoter? All up in the air.

Gamboa was a warrior tonight but he looks like he could do with fighting guys his own size.

As usual I saw it different than most.

first, I'm shocked how many gave Gamboa the 4th. I thought the 4th was the beginning of the end. Crawford caught him solid a few times and hurt him. Gamboa hid it well but his legs let it show.

Next, I was actually disappointed by Crawford. He was more ragged than i expected. His counter punching wasn't as sharp as I thought it would be. All that said it ended about how I figured with a 9th/10th rd TKO.

People always say Gamboa doesn't....Gamboa should....he is what he is and he's fun to watch. People see fast hands with pop and assume a guy could be a better boxer if only.....we've seen many fast punchers that were great fighters but not natural boxers, why do people always expect more from these types? Enjoy them for what they are.

HBO crew sucks . They seemed to favor Gamboa they switched to Crawfords' side after the 1st knockdown. Roy continually says wrongs thing that surface later in the fight that make him look stupid. Then he goes on to try to conceal his errors rather than just saying he was wrong. Then you have a Spanish translator that says what he wants not what is said after every fight. How did he get the job and how does he manage to retain it when his Spanish is horrible.

Then you you have the suck ass ..... no name is even needed just a drum roll ... He kisses ass before each fight and French kisses the ass after the fights. Just a case of a good big man beating a good lil man. Also a case of Gamboa not fighting for Top Rank which would have made Crawford come down to a catch weight in exchange for fighting in Nebraska.

I had Crawford taking 4th and honestly every round after, not close. The hand writing was on the wall for Gamboa as he has looked spotty doing both...slugging and pedestrian trying to box recently. It was like stuffing a guy in a pressed stiff suit and asking him to "act natural". Gamboa always had great reflex but susceptible to superior boxing regardless. He maximized what he brought to the dance and that's all you can expect him to be.

Crawford showed a new chip on his shoulder, He is def sharper and boxing wise than tonight but tonight he played with fire and beat a guy at his own game and looked explosive. Last time out he boxed calculated and paced and was called reluctant and timid. We are a cheese and all whine crowd at times.

Gamboa was schooling Crawford before he started to fall apart at the seams and Terrance switched southpaw to catch him with right hooks.

HBO can suck my dick with their commentary. They already sucked Crawford's.

Also you don't know how to score a fight. Only the 4th was close.

Gamboa is mentally flawed. When he got hurt all he wanted to do is block with his face and try to land a big shot.

Been real busy and just watched the recording this morning. Great fight, Gamboa bouncing back up like a hyperactive yo-yo and Crawford getting cuter than a dimply cute thing at times with some nicely timed, hurtful shots. Entertainment and quality boxing from both fighters, I really don't understand how you could not enjoy that. The undercard was a bit meh, but the main event put me right back in the day when we used to tune in for fights having no idea who would prevail, and sometimes not even having an idea how they would do it.
