I'm sure it's recovery and he is still playing well within himself. It's been a while since surgery, so it makes you wonder about Murray. I think we can all agree he isn't quite the same major winner and it has been a few tournaments now.
I was just wondering the same. I guess Andy has a natural setting of defense, but that was overcome by certain drills etc Lendl would do over an over. 6 months without him now and perhaps his natural instincts have crept back in. I'm sure if it was purely a rational choice he could make he would choose to still be the more attacking and therefore better player he has been for the last two years. It must be more deeply ingrained than a conscious choice.
It is a bit of of a head scratcher.
How much the back surgery is a factor is hard to say. Perhaps that's now more mental than physical as it has been a while.

I'm not a huge tennis fan but I've just realised something

Where are the male American tennis players ?? Just realised they don't seem to have any contenders any more .

And the women too actually apart from Serena ??

Hope Federer has one more major in him.
    That would be all.

Same here. I am supporting Federer now.

Murray was poor. I haven't seen him that bad in a long time. Very disappointing.

I would love to see Fed win Wimbledon, cant see it though. Even if he gets passed Dimitrov he wont beat Djokovic. How great a day did Dimitrov have? Bent Murray over and fucked him then went home and did the same to Maria Sharapova. Probably won on a scratch card as well.

I cant name any past Canadian tennis players, unless you open the Greg Rusedski debate but right now they have a semi finalist in the mens and womens.

I only know Helep from the womens semis and she knocked out Lisicki so she is by default a dirty cuntpig. I'd be rooting for her but for that terrible act.

I hope the Fed can get one more too

The thing is Roger, now he's older, always tend to have a bad day at the office these day in tournaments and he's due one

if he doesn't though I can see him getting to the final and just maybe he can take Djokovic. On any other sirface I'd fancy Djokovic all day but grass and I think Fed has a chance.

As for the women's No idea who anyone is any more apart from Williams sisters and Sharapova

Seems I read the draw wrong, Djokovic plays Dimitrov, Fed plays Raonic. Best case scenario for Rog is he gets by Raonic and Dimitrov goes through hell edging out Djokovic. The final all proves too much for Dimitrov and he plays like poo.........then plopeater eats it.

I'm just happy Nadal is out. Likable kid and great tennis player and all..... but I don't like fact he's threatening Fed's career Grand Slam record almost on French Opens alone.

If his body holds out I think Nadal will end up with more slams than Federer.

I think they will defo go down as 1 and 2 in greatest all time list (Djokovic could even threaten that) but given Fed's record across all surfaces I'd put him ahead

I think you're right. On French Opens alone, Nadal should be able to catch Fed on the alltime list. I don't see anyone threatening Rafa on clay anytime soon. It's almost become a psychological thing. What? I'm facing Nadal in the French Open? I'm doomed.

You're right on Djokovic as well. He's young (like Nadal), and the only threat I see to him winning a handful of more majors is Murray.... and I still don't know whether Murray has the mental resolve to be much of a threat.

Fed's # 1 as far as I'm concerned also. He's held more records for longer time than anyone else.... and if you look at the historical ATP rankings, he's come back from being unseated at # 1 to reclaim the spot not just once, but on several ocassions throughout a long time period.
