Default The HIGH point of the boxing match to you?

What is your high point of the fight? What part turns you up the most?

For some, it's the surprise ko. For other's, it's the few moments right before the bell rings for round one; other's it's the final bell.

But, for me, I love it when a fighter finds that rhythm- and for about 20 to 30 seconds, just puts all of his punches together, and opens up with unanswered- or near unanswered- shots for the duration.

There is nothing like when a fighter turns it up a notch and riddles off 10 to 20 clean shots- medium range and hard, shots.

Love that moment of the fight. It's surprising. It sneaks up on you. It just happens!

yes I know what you mean. mid-range is beautiful to watch. For me the high point is when a fighter has weathered a storm, staggering about like a drunk, and then suddenly starts firing back with all his guts, and lands some nice solid shots just when you thought he was about to quit, and the tide turns.

I can see Gatti/Ward 1 and 3 would be your most favourite fights.

    Of course aside from Foreman/Lyle.

Depends on the match, who is fighting, what styles etc.

When a boxer makes a change and turns the tide of a fight.

When a pressure fighter starts wearing down his opponent

When you see the big punch set up, and aren't surprised when it finally lands

Have never really thought about it before, but I would say it's when one of the fighters finally figures out the right way to win and I know what's coming.
Most disappointing is when the guy I'm pulling for suffers a KO in the final minute of the last round.
Most pissed off is when three judges score like they just finished a record breaking piss-up.

The high point is when a fighter I have invested time and effort in wins a title and becomes the top fighter that you thought he would be.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Usually around round 6 or 7 the truly elite start to show you a higher level.. Higher level of endurance, higher level of accuracy, higher level of wanting the victory.

It all starts when you see one of the two start to tire. That's the high point
    The key is Self-discipline.

I like when 1 fighter has been hit and rocked then later in the fight rocks the other guy.

That adds interesting elements to a fight imo.

I also do like a power fighter who likes to throw overhand rights.

Yea. I whack off everytime I see the Bowe vs. Gonzalez fight. The rights just kept on coming. I orgasm everytime I see Bowe smash that arrogant prick.

When I was competing (much younger), I lived that moment when the other guy broke mentally. Guys signal breaking in different ways. Some guys groan. Others downshift a gear. Some stop trying to win the little battles (body/foot position, pace, distance...etc.) Still others throw less or not at all or with reduced power. That is the best feeling, because u know at that point that u can enjoy the rest of the fight.

When watching a fight: 1) watching a stare down like Hagler vs Hearns during intros. 2) when a fighter shows his warrior spirit, as cheesy as that sounds. Hagler vs Hearns is an example as well, but numerous times in Holyfields career he has inspired me. 3) Watching that point when one guy breaks the other physically, like Julio Caesar Chavez vs Edwin Rosario. 4) The crazy come from behind win like Foreman vs Moorer or Jorge Castro vs John David Jackson.
