Default Toney vs Peter ROUND BY ROUND

Upon scoring the fight without alcohol or in a party environment I scored the fight 114-113 for Peter

    1) Peter – could have gone either way, I like Peter’s Body work
    2) Toney- CLEARY Toney’s round with many crisp punches
    3) Peter – CLEARY Peter’s round, Toney hurt at end of round
    4) Toney- could have gone either way, I favored Toney’s many jabs to Peters power
    5) Peter- could have gone either way, despite Toney being hurt and grabbing for the ropes.
    6) Toney- CLEARY Toney biggest round, Peter looked hurt a couple of times
    7) Toney- could have gone either way. Toney solid all round, Peter big finish
8 ) Toney- could have gone either way. Peter finished strong again, but Toney controlled most of the round
    9) Peter- Could have gone either way. Peter had great punch at end: Toney held until bell
    10) Peter- CLEARY Peters best round
    11) Peter- could have gone either way. Again Peter lands big punch at the end of the round
    12) Peter- could have gone either way. Closest round of the fight.

With so many close rounds, and each fighter only DOMINATING 2 rounds a piece, the fight could have arguable been scored as drastically as 10 rounds to 2 for either fighter.( 118-110 Toney or 117-110 for Peter.)

How can you have scored round 9 for Peter but beside it you state 9-9 even

It would have been 10-9 but Peter had a point deducted, thus making it 9-9

Not denying that there weren't some close rounds but I don't see how the 11th could have been possibly been scored for Peter, that was one of the easiest rounds to score IMO, Peter landed one decent shot the whole round and got clearly outboxed the other 99 percent of the time. There were some tough to score rounds, Peter tried to steal most of them with a late rally, but the 11th was a very good round for Toney IMO.

After scoring the fight sober, I have to admit it could have gone either way, with all the close rounds. As for the 11th, I even noted that it was a toss up round. Like most the other toss up rounds, Toney controlled most of the round with jabs and straights that really had no effect on Peter, and Peter landed a few hard shots within the last 30 seconds.

Like I said earlier, I believe that rounds were intelligent minds could not differ would be 3 and 10 for Peter
and 2 and 6 for Toney

Even round 5 where Toney had to clutch onto the ropes was a solid Toney round with exception to the last 20 seconds where Toney got hurt.
