So I guess (after reading your retarded post) you consider Jameel McCline some sort of power punching whiz kid...I didn't think McCline should have been such a "huge favorite" I had it pretty even going into the fight because no one knew what Brock was made of and the jury is still out on it.

I don't hate Brock, I think he has skill but he doesn't have enough to beat Wlad. It's going to be a one sided ass whipping. As soon as Wlad gets him hurt it's ALL OVER. Not all heavyweights hit as soft as McCline or Timor.

You did of course hear that Sergei dropped Brock in sparring right? KO'd him apparently... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5uPaNxcq7w

As far as your comments to me, don't be such a fucking cunt I mean who the hell are you Norman Stone? That's the last person I remember being this annoying.

    I mean this guy here....

What we have here is one of two things.....

First, he probably a "couch potato boxing fan" that claims to know everything about the sport because, he has been watching it for twenty years....

Or second, he's a former amateur fighter that probably fought a few fights here or there and wishes he went pro, but didnt....

One thing Lyle, you goto the history of boxing and look at guys that SHOULD NOT have won title, but ended up doing so.....

    Buster Douglas
    Hasim Rahman(LEwis Fight)
Carlos Baldomir(hope I spelled that right, also, I am a new huge fan of this guy)
Wlad Klitschko(They had him considered as finished in the sport, but he revived himself)
James Braddock(the most unlikely guy to ever win a HW title)

What I am trying to teach you here is not to look at the obvious, look deeper into the sport and the possibiities of what can go wrong....

Klitschko has been know to make mistakes....like now, he is a telegraph fighter...1-2, move, 1-2, move....Its something that fighters will catch up on...The fact that Brock has only about half the experience, is the only real thing you have looked at...You talk about some tough fights Brock has had, well I remember quite well about some of the tough fights Wlad has had.

You need to look at Boxing as a whole, look at it from different angles. Alot of you out there see a one dimensional range when it comes to the sport and thats why we get alot of these statements about who "got robbed!!" and "how did that happen?". Like the recent Toney fight, yeah, like I said...I had it close, but, Toney has aq problem of talkin alot of shit lately, plus the fact that he looks like shit as a fighter...If he really wanted to be a Champ, why wouldnt he take the time to show it in the gym, get into shape and come in with a fighting chance...I loved the fact that Peter couldnt put him out. It only proves my point about Peter..He is one dimensional and cant finish a fight when he has the opportunity knocking down his door...

Look from the eyes of a cornerman, which btw is the hardest job of them all, and think of what youre going to tell this fighter in the corner when the round is over....Then listen to his corner when they allow for it and see how close or maybe even how far off from what they are thinking of. I love doing that, because you learn how people see different things and at different angles.

If we all seen the same thing, we wouldnt need but one judge in a fight. Hell in the amateurs, they use five scoring judges. Also, in the Amateurs, its alot harder to score than it is in the pros...

Lyle, all you have to understand is this, alot of people see fights from different angles than you do, I see it from 35 years of being around, involved and presently working in the sport. I like people like you, I love your opinions...What I dont like is the way you try to belittle people with statements. I only respond with harshness when harshness is used. What you think is annoying is only because you didnt get the point 5 posts ago and I am trying to get into your head of what I am saying, from my point of view.

    Good Luck Lyle,

    Coach

I might not have any fights under my belt, I spar, I train, I watch boxing....so I GUESS all knowing coach you just know waaaaaay more than me. (BTW I realize there are people out there who know better than me, just right now you don't strike me as one of them)

You know that Wlad telegraphs his punches....perhaps you should have told Chris Byrd.

You know Wlad throws just a 1-2...perhaps you care to explain why that left hook of his is so good or did I just dream that he KO'd Charles Shufford with it and rocked the hell out of Sam Peter with it.

I think that a 46 (41 KO)-3-0 fighter is not an "unlikely champion"...especially since when he fought Peter his chin got tested he got back up and he won.

I reckon I'm just delusional and I don't get boxing...I don't get the whole "Styles make fights" idea, which is why I always knew Winky Wright would humiliate Shane Mosley. I don't get the fact that shocking results happen...in fact it's simply amazing I'm able to type.

I listen to cornermen on TV and when I spar and you know (hopefully) that they can be just as wrong as they can be right here are some famous examples:

Ali-Foreman: Poor Archie Moore just didn't do well that fight

Tyson-Douglas: Yes I know more about boxing than those jackasses. I know an ENDSWELL will do more than a Condom filled with water. I also know Tyson didn't recieve any advice about moving his head or throwing combinations...they just said "What are you doing?"

Taylor-Chavez I: "You need this round!"...Yeah to go with the other 11 you already won. That ended his career right there.

However there are times where the corner does it's job very well, I just don't see Tommy Yankello bringing anything to what Brock can do vs Wlad. Whereas Manny Steward is a friggin genius! All Yankello is known for is Spadafora and I've never been impressed with that style, especially at heavyweight

Well, i wouldnt say that Peter hit Wlad on the chin.....more like trhe back of the head....If he would have caught Wlad square, he wouldnt have gotten up...

And the left hook from Wlad didnt fire as often as it could have....They played the fire and grab game with Peter, which is exactly what I would have done in that fight...

And yes, you are delusional, your not really typing, its all a dream and I got into it somehow to bug the shit out of you.....

    HAHAHA!!!

I'll tell you what happens alot in boxing, some fighters in the lower house shows(Smokers) will hire the first guy walking throught the door to work their corner for them....$20 here $50 there...you know...

Well, when tyson took on that corner crew for the Douglas fight, they werent prepared because DK threw him the worst people he could find...Tyson was not mentally prepared for that fight, nor was he properly equipped with the proper personnel, I actually felt bad for him when I watched it all unfold...I was at a few of Tyson's fights, I loved watching him when he had a solid corner working with him...In the end, it all caught up to him.

Fighters will win when they have the right people in the corner. Wlad has Manny, I like Manny, but he has his faults.....Brock has his dad, are they the best, maybe not, but Brock has a lifetime of trust with the man and when he tells him to do something in the ring, it will happen...Dont think they arent fully prepping for this fight...I still have it Wlad/Dec..

    Good Luck,

    Coach

Briggs - Klitch was more of a dice shoot, who could get that punch in first. both fighters Tall strong Punchers , with the same type of Jaw durability or lack there of .
CC. I don't know why some people here "really like" Brock. Yes, he has no glaring weaknesses but also nothing that stands out and makes him special. I've seen Brock vs McCline, Lawrence, and Ibragimov and really don't think he'll be able to stand up against the likes of Wlad. I say Wlad KO's Brock within 7

    Good Luck,

    Coach
Corey Sanders caught him square and he kept getting up...he couldn't fight back but he kept getting up.

Wlad has NEVER been "knocked cold"...he collapsed vs Brewster I mean Lamon did nothing before Wlad couldn't keep his hands up and EVEN THEN he took a FLUSH left hook like a champ.

I would HOPE Calvin Brock is preparing to take this fight seriously. I think this is the most dangerous fight aside from Sam Peter (because he hits in the back of the head and HAS YET TO HAVE A POINT TAKEN FROM HIM BECAUSE OF IT! ) I guess we need more Gerald McClellan's out there before someone cracks down on this.

Coach, it's a pleasure debating with you...I will give you this Brock gets it done in the ring, he might not look flashy or have a ton of power but he wins.

But like Manny said to Sam Peter "Welcome to big time boxing"...Wladimir has his issues but he has worked on them and he does a lot better now.

I agree, Calvin won't be able to handle that onslaught. IMO Early Ko victory for Wlad, repeat of the Byrd fight .

It seems that on November 11th, Wladimir will not only defend his IBF heavyweight title in New York, but also celebrate two anniversaries. This will be his fiftieth fight in his professional career, and it will be his tenth year anniversary as a professional boxer.
Nevertheless for this day to end on the right note, Wladimir needs to defend his championship title against unbeaten Calvin “The Boxing Banker” Brock. Brock has kept a perfect record since his debut in February 2001, winning all twenty-nine fights, twenty-two of those by a knockout.
When we spoke to Wladimir about his opponent, Wladimir stated that: “Calvin Brock is a very difficult fighter. His professional results and amateur career proves it. I realize how dangerous Brock is and I will not underestimate him.”
Interestingly, Calvin has already declared that he’ll be the next IBF champion. “When I started boxing, I said that I would become a world champion. And at last on November 11th my dream will become reality. I’m going to win. There will be no doubt who won!”
On September 19th, in New York, the first press conference would take place to promote November 11th fight. Wladimir and Calvin will meet each other for the first time as opponents. Wladimir is currently in Los Angeles, where he continues to finalize negotiations about his fight with Calvin

    CC, for the info Duke....

The more I think about this fight the more interesting it becomes to me. Brock is good and he has an all round game. How good he is, I couldnt say with any certainty. This fight will answer all those questions.
