The left hook was there for him as soon as he started opening up but he need a straight right to set it up. Infuriating.

Yet his dad threw the best straight punches you could ever throw when he was a boxer.

The rumor is that Chisora was injured before the fight, and that he and Fury agreed privately on a deal, where Fury would take it easy on him, so that the fight could still go ahead, Fwank didn't have to scrap the top of the bill, and they both got their paychecks. Hope it's not true, if it is, they should both be hauled before the Board. But it kind of fits with what we witnessed- Fury fighting mostly southpaw, throwing tip-tap jabs with no force, not even thrown correctly, and Chisora throwing virtually nothing at all.

That would be a scandal if this was true.

That would be a sandal if this was true.
I don't know about a "Scandal", but I reckon they've "put their foot in it" I always thought Fury was a "shoe-in" , but if something strange was going on, they might get "booted" out and Chisora will definitely "slipper" (!) down the rankings, possibly "flip-flopping " with AJ. . sorry, couldn't resist.

    Proof?

Also, was it in the agreement that Fury turn Chisoras face in to a gargoyle?

You know, something Vitali didnt do.

Oh shit! Maybe Vitali was also in agreement not to do much v Chisora either!

Haye didn't turn Chisora into a gargoyle either... He just sparked him out in half the time instead.

A cruiserweight was able to do something to the less shopworn chisora that the 6 foot 9 lummox couldn't. :-/

Chisora has been declining since then, for Tyson 'future g.o.a.t' Fury not to brush him aside in a few rounds, despite enjoying every physical advantage is a bit of a let down.

    Adam... Shut up. Your tiresome.

Haye until the stoppage did not out box Chisora with the ease that Tyson did. Chisora also wasn't coming off a career best spell of wins.

Fuck sake, even Al has had his respect earnt by Fury.

Do you know what is a let down?

Your attitude towards a fellow fighter, (I think you have fought, all be it at amateur home show level), let alone a fellow country man fighter and the only real hope for a real title at heavyweight.

What's my attitude? I'm being pragmatic, fighters aren't known for blowing smoke up each other's arses Ross.

You're easily impressed, you even sang his praises because he was able to 'sing after a fight'...

Did Fury look like a force when he beat Chisora? No. I expected him to win in lacklustre fashion against the smaller, limited man and he did, why would that raise my opinion of him?

If he'd flattened Chisora I would have thought a little more of him.

Haye isn't 6 foot 9 and he doesn't have an 84 inch reach, I think that might have had something to do with the difference in the style of their respective fights?
Haye's Chisora had came off a career best performance where he gave Vitali his best fight in years and had been robbed before that, don't tell me the Chisora that Fury just fought was in great form lol

Fury had every advantage and produced less, no amount of throwing your dummy out and trying to appeal to a sense of jingoism that I don't have is going to change that
