And we are expected to. I see him doing three fights this year with Dulorme included... and I think he can beat Algieri if he gets past Dulorme.

Then fights can be made for him. He has to show up.
I'd like to see him do better than Algieri. I consider Agieri a completely average fighter. If that will be Crawfords level at 140 he might as well stay at 135 where he can be great. Or is GGG the only fighter allowed to hang out in a division with no challengers?
140 has more competition for him... and if he stays at 135, what else is there for him to do? He already beat Gamboa to a pulp. Should he wait for Mikey Garcia? A fight that may not happen? I don't know.... 140, for him, if he wants money and if he wants to be great- taking into consideration if Danny Garcia stays- then he has the world in front of him.
Mikey Garcia has suggested he will return at 140 so that fight is still a possibility

Quite possible. Because he was having TREMENDOUS problems making 130. To the point that he may as well had fought at 140.

TC must be a nice guy. Can't figure why I forgot about him, till this thread. Just amazing: a guy who actually does his talking with fists and not his mouth, go figure...

Of course there is more at 140. That is my point, why mention someone completely average like Algieri? I know, both are TR but what is the point to fighting Algieri when there are better fighters there?

Well, to be fair, Algieri DID beat Provodnikov... and even though he got thrashed by Pac, he is still ranked. Just because we don't feel he was worth squat doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a shot or a chance or to be ranked.

I think Crawford might be overrated. I haven't seen him fight much, though. He's seems too big for lightweight, He doesn't seem to be able to throw his left with any power.

Algieri was stripped of his trinket, and is the #1 contender to that alphabet group. That's the reason he is being mentioned.
