Foreman wouldn't have been able to touch him and would have got knocked out early, especially in 1970 when he was green as grass and hadn't fought anyone.

    Lennox idolizes him
I understand the sentiment of course. Let's face facts, heavyweight boxers for whatever reasons idolize Muhammad Ali. I am certain if you had asked Rocky Marciano about whether or not he would have beaten Joe Louis before they actually fought he would have said similar words to Lewis and Tyson....but the truth is Rocky busted up Joe, sure it was an older Joe Louis, but it was still Joe Louis and Rocky still knocked him out and I'd venture to guess that Rocky was actively trying not to hurt Joe as well.

I still think Tyson can't handle Ali's style so I doubt he would beat Ali. It would be a furious first round and Ali would have to be on his bike, but he'd tag Mike a few times in that first round and start to chip away at his confidence...I have absolutely no doubt about it.

Lennox Lewis on the other hand would start slower, Ali would win a few rounds, and then he'd stick in front of Lennox too long and BOOM goes the dynamite. Once Ali was getting found by the 1-2 it would all be a matter of time.

I think jabbers, guys with a more traditional or upright style would do damage to Ali. I also think the more workman like Evander Holyfield would have been kryptonite for Muhammad because he could box and move but had that same iron will that Joe Frazier had. Riddick Bowe on the other hand would get ate up by Ali because his hands weren't fast enough and he allowed fighters to get on the inside all the time.

I think Larry Holmes is probably right that he beats any version of Ali.

I think Joe Louis is in a 50-50 match with Ali because he was better than Tyson (anyone that thinks otherwise needs to have their head examined), and his ability to stalk down opponents and land pinpoint accurate punches was uncanny. Joe Louis never overreached, he never cut his power by smothering himself against an opponent against the ropes, he was an absolute MASTER of timing and spacing.

Sounds a nice place. You been Brock?
no I haven't been there Ryan. I had a few friends in NJ who came from there though, one guy had a nice little snack shop, sold Jamaican beef, chicken and veg patties as well as some nice jerk pork, ackee & saltfish, sorrel drinks, Front End Lifter, Irish Sea Moss, Zion Roots Drink, maubi, etc...

    Cassius Clay

Would 'most likely' have the legs to stay on the perimeter and fight from 'way' outside
    against Lennox.

Cassius isn't winning the bout, but he would survive.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"That is a correct assessment. If Cassius moved in close, he would be 'Slaughtered' for sure."

Speaking of 'Slaughter', you might remember me as the Model in the video ...."Up All Night" from 1990."

    I said 1970's version.

Also tell that to Oliver McCall or Rahman.

    Oops! My bad!

    Still disagree though hahaha.

I think Lewis would give any Foreman a good "grilling" (see what I did there? Likes and reps more than welcome for that home run).

Damn it, Bill! You are supposed to be working on the Quarry story, and I find you over here playing with your picture collection, again. Get to work! lol

    Sorry About That 'Been Ko'ed

I was talking to my ex-girlfriend from 1988 ....... Rebecca 'Becky' Mullen.

I dated her in 1988 when I was working at 'Circus, Circus' in Las Vegas as the
    Head Bartender.

True Story. She went on to do the Video > 'Up All Night' {1990} from the band 'Slaughter' who
    were from Las Vegas.

Lennox seemed a bit pissed off the other week when James DeGale was getting all the plaudits for being the first Brit gold medal winner / "world" champ.

I saw one comment from him that basically said - Look mate I'm from London I was forced to live in Canada
    3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
