Can he do it again in the final?

Theres only one word to describe Federer's victory over Andy Murray today - mint!

Seriously, I think Murray is an absolutely fantastic world class player. How quickly we forget, I remember when Henman getting to the quarter final was the best British male tennis performance for about 150 years, and now we expect Murray to get there every time.

In any other era he would have won about 8 Slams.

I love Federer, though, the epitome of grace under pressure.. Best I've ever seen

    I think he can.

    Which means he can't.

That's what worries me re Fed - he usually has a mare of a game every slam these days. Djokovic has had his blips this tournament and maybe he's got his out of the way

On another note I was reading article other day saying they should ban all the tall players from Wimbledon as their serve is just an unfair advantage on the grass surface. They specifically mentioned Karlovic, Isner and Anderson.

I've always said if the tallest man in the world (8ft 3) just practiced his serve and basic hitting he'd be unbeatable at Wimbledon. Just bounce every serve into the royal box and then wait for a mistake in eery tie break from opponent. Bingo !

I've gotta say, Murguruza is one sexy lady. I was impressed.

Yes she was nice and I was imagining her with her clothes off.

Her nipples were showing through and Serena didn't have that issue. I think it was purposeful.

The nipple factor was the reason why I wanted it to go to a third set.

She is unusual. I usually like the Ivanovic style and in a weird way like Radwanska, but Murguruza, is a bit different. I think someone like Sharapova is overrated and looks like a fish, but everyone seems to like her. I disagree, these other players are far more agreeable.

Muguruza has way more game and power than Sharapova. This was her first grand slam final, which explains any nerves she may have had. I was really rooting for her to beat Serena... but Serena was not to be denied today. Serena was right, though. Muguruza has many of those champion trophies in her future.

    6 time Wimbledon champ
    21st Grand Slam title

Williams is an Amazing Athlete. Kinda like when Mike Phelps was crushing everyone in his sport. Both are easily all time greats.

Got to take my hat off to Serena - 16 years since her first slam. Greatest all time for me

Was reading this morning about how Sharapova is the biggest earner in women's tennis - just not right.

See quote below from BBC - sums up today's world

"That Maria Sharapova has earned more money than Williams despite having been beaten 18 times in their 20 meetings is a sorry reflection both on the calculation of a sportswoman's commercial worth and our own appreciation of what makes a true champion."

I'm watching it on and off. Right now they're on a rain delay.

Tied at one set each (tiebreakers both of them), and Novak is up a break in the 3rd.
Getting that sinking feeling that Fed might wilt toward the end of the match.
Can't bear to see Fed lose yet another Wimbledon final.
