Default ***The Fight I Would Love 2 See! Manfredo Jr. VS Sweetness Green***

The fight I want to see:

I dont think the SMW Div is devoid of talent as it is constantly called lack luster. I, as a fan of the Div would tend to agree but I think we may both be wrong. I think the fights like the Calzaghe Bika and the Manfredo Pembertons make us yawn at the whole div. I think the SMW Div actually has alot of talent and interesting fights to offer.

    Case and point:

Agree or disagree we have a pretty good card on Oct 14th. I am a Manfredo fan(as we all know) But thats not the whole reason on why I'm excited. The Allan Green fight may excite me just as much. I love to watch Green fight. There is a reason why most of the top boys in the Div are afraid of him. He is dangerous.

    Manfredo and Spina:

I hear alot of people saying on this forum that they don't even want to see this fight. I have one thing to ask you. You say Manfredo is a game show boxer. You say he KO'd a shot Pemberton(I agree) and you say he is third tier. I can honestly say, as a fan, that you may be right. But how intriguing would it be if you were wrong. We have seen 1 fight since Manfredo has had ample time to learn from Roach(He trained with him for the 2nd Mora fight but just breifly)He looked great against Pemberton but wouldn't this fight be a true test? Can he take what Joey's got power wise? Does he deserve to be in the top 15 with guys like Lacy, Kessler, Beyer Froch, and Mundine? These are the questions I want answered. I don't root for Manfredo with blind faith. I would like these aswered once and for all.

The fight that I want to see:

I assume Peter will outbox Joey. He is very smart and will stay on the outside and potshot all night. He won't be able to knock joey out.
    Assuming he gets by him.....

    Allan Green Vs. Manfredo

This fight would be great for both fighters. This would be a truly great fight to watch. Im sure this fight could be made. Green has said that Manfredo ducked him. This could be true. I don't know. What a great fight if it could be made, though!

    Thanks for reading,
    Mike

I think Manfredo v. Green would be a great match, but I think Green could take him.

Yes thats what I ment I'm saying there is no basis for him to get KO'd in 3. Spina hits as hard, prob harder then green. So I guess he'll go down in 2?... Or wait... 1.... actually the first 10 seconds, Gallotta style and in Morrison vs Mercer fashion

It's funny how you hype up Spina, ignoring the fact that he's garbage. Is that so Manfredo's win (if he wins) can seem so much better? All your bullshit, lust for Rhode Island fighters is fuckin annoying.

never mind the fact I have never hyped spina... Is he not ranked what I stated? Does he not punch hard? Does he not KO people with body blows? Check any of my threads and see if i hype spina :P

This thread was about the fight I want to see Green Manfredo and not the fighters you think are garbage although it is your oppinion and I won't dog it like you do to every other person you disagree with without proving your point.

    This forum is for discussion...
you use it to hate on people
"Spina's garbage" Why? (I don't like him at all but that beside my point)
    "Manfredo KO'd in 3" Why?

lets discuss it like I joined this forum to do and not act like a child and belittle everything people say you don't agree with
