    Default Arum vs. Muhammad

Murad was accused of screwing Pac over great sums of money. Was his fights at that time generating big money?

Roach called Murad a creep. After the settlement Pac if i remember didn't go straight to Arum. I think he accepted money from GBP. A tangle ensued and Finkel with Arum won out.
Today Pac has made well over 100 million but just before the MAyweather Fight it was rumored he was borrowing.
I just wonder since Roach was adamant about Pac finances with Murad... how does he see himself and Arum as advisers. And handlers of his finances.
Do any of you think Murad had to pay money owed in that case? Or was he bought out?

PAC Team consists of trainers, assistants to the trainers, advisers, assistants to the advisers, cooks, publicists, gofers and security.

Here are some numbers floating about how is money is divied up.

    – 20% to his manager
    – 10% to his trainer Freddie Roach
    – 1-5% for strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune

Was there a trade off or pac was better off leaving Murad?

I know Manny signed for Oscar for a very short period.

Arum seems to have a water tight contract which owns Manny.

    Those percentages are extortionate.

What gets me is that Roach had some say so. Enough to motivate Pac to take Murad to court and maybe influenced him to turn down GBP.

No question that the two are close. I know Roach can't force Pac to have thinned out his entourage, but it doesn't seem like he tried.
It doesn't seem like Roach had any issues in how Arum got paid.

If Murad has had multiple boxers make that same claim then it is a moot point.

I tend to think Pac would've left Murad eventually..like. Bradley turned to Arum to get fights that he would have neverseen otherwise.

Yet it was Murad who uncovered that diamond in the rough.
Did he really screw over Pac?

I don't think you can say anyone "screwed over" Pac. The guy is worth 100 million dollars because he is good at fighting, and has already blown god knows how much money on his own. Were his fights maybe taking in more revenue than he was seeing a solid % of for a while? Sure, but who got him to that point? He has absolutely no business savvy or penchant for self promotion, what would you expect, people handle his career for free? Boxers don't earn a fortune based on their in ring ability, not one ever has. How many millions do GGG or Rigo have in the bank?

Everyone screwed Manny. He had 3 managers for years FFS! It's Mannys' fault for being dumb.

I hear you and pretty much agree.
Just wondering if anyone has credible info that validated his severing ties with Murad.
Not only does it appear that their court case did not brake Murad... but that M&M entertainment wasn't hurt.

I have no facts. Just curious: Did Murad lose Pac and money? Or just Pac.
After all he was taken to court for the very act he helped bring.... The Ali act.
    Was he that stupid? Arrogant?
And has Arum taken % that validates why Floyd left.
It's not so much about what Pac spent. .. this is about questioning his decision to leave and how Roach was vocal against. Murad but quiet with Arum.

LOL! No sir not a bad post at all. A bit surprised that few fans speak of Pac's split with Murad. Well it was ages ago.
