Golota was good friends with Pershing and was at his funeral. Golotas a good guy but gets many stupid ideas when he has nothing to do (according to him ) Thats why he will fight again. Looks like it could be larry donald cause davaryll williamson is fighting Saleta. Apparently Don King said the winner gets a title shot ( of the saleta vs williamson )

The guys big and strong and had a decent jab and comes in good shape. Just too bad he cant do a few brain push ups. If he cant beat Donald he should quit. He always seems very stiff esp at the start of a fight.

"Golota was good friends with Pershing and was at his funeral."

So then the plot thickens even more!

Gangsters like boxing. Gangsters like to bet on boxing matches. Gangsters don't like to lose their bets. If you are a gangster and want to fix a fight so that you are sure to win your bet, it is much easier to see to it that your man loses than wins.

Why is it that NOBODY wants to fight this guy? Sure, Brewster embarrassed him, but anyone in the business knows that a totally different fighter could show up for the next bout and end your fighter's career. Golota is a tragic enigma. While Bbessed with an abundance of physical apptitude he was short-changed in the departments of drive, focus and maturity.

His performance, I believe, comes down to what he watches on TV the hour before the fight. He'll go down as one of the all time most interesting, and tragic, characters in the sport.
That is very true. We all agree. When you watch him against Bowe its amazing. He ruined Bowe for ever. Bowe was so brave. Golota was a Big White Shark. Could have been one of the longest ruling champions ever. From Bowe I to 2006. He must come back. If he dosent he will regret it for the rest of his life. Golota - Maskaev, Valuev, Klit, Lyakovich - delicisious.

Golota is a nut job. He got screwed in both the Byrd and Ruiz fights. I mean he's just doomed to ever win a world title IMO. And he wouldn't have been a champ for a long time or a great one, he was blasted out by Lennox, blasted out by Brewster, was terrified against Mike Tyson, quit against up and comer Grant. Golota is nothing to get really excited about anymore. He's blown his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances people!

Golota's a kook that has blown every opportunity given to him...has not earned any title fight but still given chances, It's time to move on...I'm actually much more excited to hear about Tua's comeback than anything about Golota...

GOLOTA ACTUALLY WAS BETTER THAN HIS OPPONENT IN BOWE 1,2 AND ACCORDING TO THE FANS WON 2 TITLE CHALLENGES so he is clearly atleast as or more of boxer than valuev, Maskaev, and the others.

Let him beat Toney or Holyfield or................................. Klitschko - Golota

And give him the right kind of drugs for his head. I want to give him more chances because: NOTICE THAT HE DID NOT DISQUALIFY HIMSELF AS OF LATE he came in stiff like a mummy against brewester, but in the other he behaved passably human. Perhaps now he is mature enough to do it right.

    Forgive and never lose faith!

Golota should hang 'em up for good already...some guys just don't know when to quit.
