Default how much time does a pro have to train?

When training for a fight, on average how long does a pro have to train before the fight date? i'm thinking somewhere around 6-8 weeks+. does anyone know?

generally thats how long they will train for, its not always all they have but if you go in a training camp for to long you risk a burn out.

Some guys take fights on a days notice, in terms of time spent training as opposed to being on a job etc the bottom end of the pro game isn't all that different to amatuer boxing.

As an amatuer you box regularaly through a season. your best bet is to train really hard during the summer off season (take a rest after the season to get your body ready for this) then tone it down a few weeks before the season. after that just keep active in teh gym so your always ready to go.

you gotta plan your year, the training I did last yer is affecting what I can do this year.
