It is a little rough that they stripped him, if the Canelo fight took place, everything was going to be ok? Canelo stuffed all that up, nothing to do with GGG. I do think he should have taken the Derevyanchenko fight on My 5th, they both would have had the same amount of time to prepare for the fight.

GGG has not proved he's the undisputed champ at 160 for me yet. A rematch with Jacobs, Saunders is there as well.

I'm interested in who fights for the vacant belt. If Canelo takes Jacobs (a fight I'm not really sure will get done), and GGG faces his mandatory Charlo, then Derevyanchenko vs Andrade could actually finally happen with a title on the line.

GGG is the the undisputed champ at 160, of that there is no doubt.

There is doubt. I thought Jacobs beat him. He didn't unify with Saunders.

GGG beat Jacobs, it was closer than expected but the jab won it for GGG.

GGG trying to keep all the titles has been near impossible and Saunders is just lucky to hold on to a strap otherwise he would be just a contender.

I don't think it has been impossible for GGG to unify. He could have fought Saunders instead of Canelo, but he followed the money. Now GGG is begging like a b-tch coming back asking for 45%. I heard he turned down 40% previously.

I've heard GBP has offered Jacobs a 80/20 split.

Jacobs is being used by Oscar and he has no intensions of putting Canelo in with someone that dangerous with no status in the fight.

GGG had to fight Canelo and did the right thing taking him on instead of Saunders.

Yea but kind of goes against all his talk about wanting all the belts. Wasn't that one of his his reasons for not going to 168 for Ward.

I agree about GBP using Jacobs, I think it's a ploy to get GGG to agree to a lower cut. It's working.

GGG should accept and take out all his frustration and rage on Canelo in the ring.

The pre-fight hype should be on the drug cheating and Oscar being in fishnets, just to wind them both up.

The icing on the cake will be the win, money and moving on against "real" contenders.

Why did he "Have to" fight Canelo , when he has always said his intention was to unify the division? Canelo never had a belt. Strange.

80/20?? I'm surprised they offered him THAT much.

GBP lives in this delusional world where an overhyped, cheating, pumped-up, ginger pretty boy is worth multiple times what his opponents are worth.

It's getting to the point where I don't care who fights him or whether they even make a dime off the fight.

I just want to see Ginger Boy flat on his back being counted out.

Or else he can quit on his stool like JCC Jr. did.

I've been a Golovkin fan for a long time, long before he ever fought on HBO and before most boxing fans had even heard of him.

Yet I think the IBF made the right decision here. Derevyanchenko shouldn't have to wait any longer for his deserved title fight.

I agree, long time fan of GGG here, why won't be IBF care if he can make 20 mill by fighting a drugs cheat who he has already beat, spread the belts out and encourage the champion to actively fight the best.
